There's the option of a 15" MacBook pro without touchbar... is this new or the 2015 model?

Update: seems the 2015 model.

I just placed my order for the base model 2017 MBP 2.8 GHz 15" w 512 SSD delivery is June 16-20

I'll wait a few days for these to show up on B&H. I'll take the new processor and faster GPU for the extra $200.

I thought that MacBook update was a typo to start with, they seem to have done away with the m5 and m7 and replaced them with the i5 and i7 while retaining the m3. Very strange.

And a 16GB option too

One thing I was reticent about the MacBooks was the m series chips going from an i7 MBA but this is some boost.

Decisions decisions over a MacBook and a 13" MBP now

"Can't innovate, my ass!"

These are such exciting new products! /s

If you call internal processor upgrade exciting, innovation is dead...
They never address the multi-adaptor issue, or that they removed the Magsafe, one of the best features in a laptop...

Do you think MBP with coffee lake which brings 30% increase in performance could be out with the iMac Pro by the end of this year? If so, I will wait for 6 more months.

People used to complain Apple doesn't update Macs enough. Now people complain Apple updates Macs too often.

Kaby Lake CPUs the MacBook Pro uses were not available until this year. I do think Apple wanted the tbMBP at last WDCC to allow Kaby Lake refresh at this WDCC, but couldn't get it ready in time so they had to push it to October.

The small upgrades they are doing are lame. Small internal upgrades is NOT INNOVATION...!!
