- Multi-Disc Albums. Albums with multiple discs now appear as a single album.

Nope, still split in multiple albums

I'm confused by this.

It still looks the same in Songs but in Albums it now splits the discs.

Have they removed the traffic lights? None of the screenshots posted have them.

I could be wrong, but I thought they removed that several versions ago - as long as you're talking about the vertical the buttons.

It's not the same as the old version.

Thank you so much, I do miss the larger album artwork from, I believe it was iTunes 8 and 9, but that'll have to do.

Someone else's screenshot suggest we can adjust the size, but I doubt it'll be as big as the old iTunes. Can't wait to get home and try this out. :D

This is as large as the artwork gets.

Great, now bring back iTunes DJ and Cover flow and we're pretty much back to good old iTunes 10.7, sans Up Next.

Is that what you call "completely redesigned"? :p

Finally fixes the inability to upload lossless audio to iCloud. The has been broken since 11.0.2.

Still no adequate replacement for iTunes DJ? :( Means my setup will continue to chug along on iTunes 10.7.

I have a 10.000-line AppleScript that turns iTunes DJ into an ultra-smart Radio station which learns my listening habits, automatically downloads legal free music from various places on the net, inserts songs from my back catalogue based on last.fm recommendations, plays news every hour and spices things up with podcasts, TTS weather announcements and the like. It can't run without iTunes DJ, so I won't upgrade to a version without it.

(I'll eventually re-write the whole thing to become independent of iTunes DJ, because then I could take advantage of Spotify, as well, which would be extremely cool. Once that's done, I can upgrade.)

Shuffle is still rubbish

Still set globally (used to be by playlist), so
- Can't have random play on one/more lists, and
- Play others sequentially

Still has two identical shuffle icons on screen that do different things

Viewing album artwork while listening to tunes... big deal.

How about getting the damn thing to sync with my phone over wi-fi without toggling things off and on?

Is it just me or wouldn't it be nice to have the ability to toggle shuffle and repeat in the mini player?

I could care less how it looks and honestly I have no idea what everyone's obsession with album art is when you are listening to a song, but being able to control how I listen to my playlist without having to go back to the regular iTunes view, would actually be helpful...

I do appreciate that they made the volume switch much more obvious in the miniplayer with this version.

A much needed update to the mini-player!

I wish it was possible to change the white background in album view to a grey or black, like in iTunes 10. I think the white looks too, I don't know, cheap or something.

My biggest complaint with iTunes is when you switch from your library to the iTunes Store and then back, it loses your place in the library.

Example - I'm in songs view, and I've searched for "Blink 182" so it's only displaying my Blink 182 songs. Then I go to store and back again and the search is gone and I'm at the top of my massive list of songs again.

The reason this annoys me is I use the store a lot to make sure my track names and order are correct (super OCD about my music library).

Anyway I doubt they will fix this but I'm curious to see when I get home from work.

I don't know if I'm misunderstanding this, but I've always had it show as a single album...

Is the storage bar more flat than before? wasn't it glossy?

Glad to see 'Album artwork' in View options also applies to the Playlists View. This was my most used view in iTunes 10.7 and I was missing it a lot.
