Apple Updating Some iPhone X Orders With Improved Delivery Dates

Must be nice. I started at 11:59pm (PST). After 8 minutes of feverishly refreshing the app I still only had "We've got something special in store for you" on the screen. Once the store loaded I was unable to check out. Clicking the link to finish my pre configured order resulted in an " Error occurred trying to fulfill your request" popup.

Ultimately it required another 5 or so minutes of refreshing and clicking the link for the order to process and give a Nov 17 - 24 delivery window.

I have a friend who understands gifts. She calls them weekend gifts. November 4th weekend gift.
 
My delivery date remains stubbornly at 17-24 November. I began my attempt to order exactly when the store opened, but errors (seemingly due to network load) pushed me out of the lucky firsts.

It’s makes sense they would. I mean all those slots for 10 to 17 November that was bumped to November 3rd are clear now and the next wave like yours should take their space. Don’t worry hang on. It will happen within this week I’m almost sure

I ordered a T-mobile 64 Silver as soon as the app let me(3:07ish). It was originally 1-2 weeks but it's now Nov 3 as well.

App never went live for me. The store opened for me in NY on Safari on my iPhone at 3:10AM. Citizens refused my second IUP, but I didn't know that until this morning. I ordered through the Apple Store App using AT&T Next this time and it went through.

256GB Space Gray. December 11-18 ship date. :(

Might try the store. I have an 8 Plus already, so I'm in no real hurry. I'm gifting it to my daughter for Christmas.
 
Does anyone know what carrier apple uses to ship usually? Got mine shipped to work so hoping it comes before I leave for the weekend. Or maybe its possible to change it to in store pickup?

FedEx does the same. UPS gives me very limited locations or will hold at the depot. The depot is way far away.

FedEx just is a better option here in the DFW Metro

Same for me. I couldn't access the store until 6.08pm (AEST) took me about 1 min to go through the checkout process and kept seeing 3rd November for delivery but soon as i hit place order the next page loads with 13-20 November for delivery :(
