Agreed! Really annoying hearing the words "first world" every few posts. Even more annoying is the repeated use of the word "entitlement." Grab a thesaurus people, there are lots of alternative words to harass your fellow macrumors readers.

Annoying would be another term. If you have a tough life, there are very few things that are annoying. Those are things that usually roll off your back. But anybody who has first world problems also tends to be 'annoyed' at things...and consider their annoyance to be a major issue in their life.

The key word missing from the title is T-Mobile. Preorders from other carriers have not seen such improvement. :)

Yep, annoying indeed!

After enrolling for the apple upgrade program last night at midnight , having an estimate delivery of Nov 3rd, I received an email 3 hours later saying that there was an issue with my info verification and they asked me to make a new reservation, by then 5-7 weeks.
I didn't do it, I gave up. But now I've just receive this other email. They want to know my new order number (I would have to order it tonight). Are they asking for the new number so they can change the delivery date to what was initially reflected in their website last night Nov 3rd? or will I have to wait until Dec?

I ended up reserving the iphone x through a T-mobile store this morning, delivery in second half of November. I'm not sure if I apply now for the apple program and send the number to them, will I get it next week? or should I stay with my current T-Mobile pre-order? Don't know.

Does anybody have any information about this?

Anyone thinking scalpers won’t be able to move these is living in a dream world. Updated shipping estimates are more than likely a direct result of cancellations.

That said, good to see these were more available than many expected.

Wow! I ordered a T-Mobile 256GB Silver model at 12:02 AM PDT from Apple and was disappointed to see a Nov 10-17 delivery but relieved it wasn't worse. Just checked online Apple Store order (I didn't get an updated e-mail from the original one I got) and now it shows November 3 delivery. Awesome! My day is looking up and happy to have it on launch day!

Ditto - mine was at 3:04, and I was just glad to get it within a couple weeks. Now, mine says launch day!

Just received an email from Apple asking me for the order number since I had encountered issues when applying for the CitizensOne loan for the iPhone X.
Hopefully they can fix the issue and ship the phone earlier than December.

Canada's retailers aren't seeming to be getting very many orders for the X. The shipping dates just recently started slipping to 1-2 weeks. Most still have a shipping date of the 3rd of November.
