What wriggling? What are you talking about?Ridiculous. I don't know about you but I barely have enough place to sit on a plane... no way I will allow somebody starting to wriggle next to me with that on his head.

In Europe lots of airlines, especially charters, don't have them. Maybe the more expensive seats, but I haven't seen them in economy. When was the last time your plane seat didn't have access to an outlet?
Does the Vision Pro have noise-canceling? If not, the noise on a plane sure cripples the experience.
It doesn’t have headphones. You can pair any Bluetooth headphones to them though, like AirPods, etc.
I’m sure they’ll sell you an app for that. Can travel mode make my flight attendant cuter?
Not sure what you’re looking at, as it took me 10 seconds to find an image that clearly does you can wear AirPods with the AVP, as it doesn't cover the ears.Looking at the design, it doesn't seem that you could wear headphones (or Airpods) and Vision Pro at the same time.
It does have speakers, but I assume that the person in the next seat will hear the music too then.
Maybe Apple comes up with a "one more thing..." next year? A Vision Pro AirPod accessory for say 799 🤡
I don't even wanna know what's on that person's VR screen if they're wriggling...What wriggling? What are you talking about?
And I definitely wouldn't want to sit next to a narcissist who thinks the entire world revolves around them.Absolutely dreading the day I end up sitting next to some walloping ******** wearing one of these headsets next to me on a plane waving their arms about and invading my personal space.
Only the weak people! Us, real men, have no problems with this. Jokes aside - What the difference now, when ppl have sleeping mask on, or reading a book? People who cant do anything on a plane or car currently, wont really be using this headset on a planes anyways..Hopefully Apple is smart enough to have a "traveling mode"where the ups and downs of the vehicle or plane are reflected in watching the content because if Apple keeps everything stationary and your body is feeling up-and-down you will quickly become nauseated.
I guess it helps to read the article, it looks like they are way ahead of me, excellent.
Are you under the impression that people are just going to be wearing these out and about beyond places where people use notebooks? Cuz I don’t know what planes you’re riding in but the “real word” is not better than a simulated environment in any plane cabin I’ve been. I can’t speak to the “give your soul” hyperbole since I haven’t experienced anything like that yet.I love Apple. But this needs to fail hard. This is not something anyone should be out wearing in public. It’s just wrong. Want to veg out in your living room? Go for it. But leave this stupid thing at home. The real world is better than any simulation these tech companies want you to give your soul to.
While I know replying to a suspended account isn't really a useful use of time, but the google glass controversy was mostly irrational hysteria, with a just a sprinkling of rational privacy concerns. Snapchat's spectacles didn't see the same wave of concern, nor did Facebook's collaboration with Ray-ban. You can buy Ray-ban Stories right now and people quit talking about them shortly after launch.Except that it doesn’t. It shows one way that these devices can be abused and Apple’s questionable defense against it. Furthermore the privacy issues aren’t restricted to the people around you. Your privacy is exposed when using the device as well.
But I’m sure every rabid Apple fan will continue to lambast any hint of legitimate criticism of the device because… Apple.

Probably some dodgy render then, rather than anything official, like a proper Photo, as I’ve seen many like the one I shared.I saw a picture where someone had the bands partly covering the ears. Don't know on which site I saw this.

While there are areas where recording of any nature should be (and is) banned, the glasses on your face ship has long since sailed. Privacy will be brought up because Apple has such incredible reach; but I'd expect their headset to have the most responsibly implemented privacy solutions when compared to others that people are not complaining about.
A recording device that looks like normal glasses and is meant to be worn when you are out and about is going to have a much higher chance of causing actual privacy violations than a chunky headset that is going to be mostly used at home. Even standard smartphones are more capable of invading privacy than a chunky VR headset. This isn’t glasses. This is far more powerful than any of the previous examples and therefore capable of a lot more invasion.
People around you won’t be able to see your screens, so it’s more private.Your privacy is exposed when using the device as well.

Though I suppose you are referring to eye tracking data, which doesn’t leave the device, so your privacy isn’t exposed there, either.

What a useless reply. If you think my “opinion” is wrong, tell us why.Your opinion is no more or less valid than mine.
Well, it isn’t speculation that other people won’t be able to see the internal screens in your headset. And again, since the product isn’t released your assessment is speculation.
