I kinda did also, that is why I asked the question. In beta 2 I unpaired and re paired to get full features. This version I did the same.
Once unpaired watch the phones notifications come back working fine, I don't why beta 3 for watch makes no notifications show nothing makes sense and no one else seems to have this issue

I just saw the beta 3 update but I am many hours from being home with my charger, REALLY wish the watch didn't have to be on the charger in order to update. I understand it having to be over a certain percentage charged but why on the charger? It might be different if it was as easy to get a second charger for the watch as it was for the phone. I am NOT a patient person and waiting until I get home late tonight will be torture! LOL!
I do mine off the charger, start it on it then leave my house. Aint nobody got time for that lol

I've worked out its a new iOS 10 feature that when watch is on the notifications don't show on phone that must be new feature on iOS 10

Not a lot of changes in beta 3, although the performance is a lot better and less laggy when going from the home screen to the watch face.

The text mode reply in apps like messages and mail has been tweaked in beta 3. Looks a lot more crowded.

And there's a new "Single Metric" option in Workout settings, that will show only one metric like heart rate visible on the Workout app, and you can scroll through different metrics using the digital crown.

Date and day didn't change from yesterday. Still showing Tue 19.

Edit: reboot changed it to today's date.

Unless this is a major fluke, last night I put my watch on after it charged to 100% and set the silent alarm, set the sleep tracker app and 8 hours later, the battery was at 95%. They may have done some serious work on the beta 3 build as 95% was better than any previous version or beta. 2 1/2 hours later, the battery is at 90%. Beta 1/2 the battery would be at 85% after 8 hours.

So I don't know if this was a fluke.. but I started the downloading the upgrade at work like I typically do to then finish the install at home on the charger. About 30 minutes later after starting the download on my phone my watch which has been on my wrist the whole time starts upgrading and installs beta 3. Very strange!! I'll try again with next beta and see if it was just a one off issue or hopefully they are testing removing the restriction??

I also install mine off of the charger, Once dowloaded and in installing phase I have left the house even and the install completed. Did this with beta 3 or else I would have been late to work!

Been having issues with beta 3 saving and syncing workouts to the phone. Two of my
last three workouts did not save properly and never showed up on the phone. They appear to save correctly on the watch, hit end button, then save button, get the Workout Saved message, but it appears the workout app continues to run .. workout icon shows on watch face and heart rate sensor is still illuminates. Neither of these workouts synced to the phone.

Anyone else experiencing this?

This happened to me with the 2.2.2 beta. I rebooted the watch and it started working again.

What my problem is I lost some of my workout stats when upgrading from 2.2.2 to watchOS 3. Although my rings show I completed the exercises my exercise workouts don't show up. After upgrading to watchos 3 my new workouts show up.

What are the different amounts of detail you can add to the Activity analog and chronograph faces? Can you add seconds like the Utility face? (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, etc) Any screenshots?

You can only choose between the two styles (big rings and chronograph) and the color of the "clock ring" (what ever it should be called). No minute/second numbers. It has the same three complication slots as Utility + the watch face itself takes you to Activity app + chronograph shows date and it takes you to calendar.

E: By the way, I believe that is new feature in Beta 3 that the date in the Chronograph Analog Activity watch face takes you to calendar. At least in Beta 1 it didn't and pretty sure it was like that in Beta 2 as well. Also it doesn't seems to drain battery as much as it did in the previous betas.

BUG:

Unsure if this was present in the previous betas, but I asked Siri to send a message to one of my contacts, and dictated it out. It showed the right to contact but then it sent to a completely different person. I tried it twice, and it did it both times to the same other person.

Battery with Beta 3 is a definite improvement over the previous 2 beta's. For a 15 month old Apple Watch, I am getting slightly better battery than OS2. Hope that applies to others as well.

No battery drain with the activity faces though there is still a delay opening. Sometimes it is instant and other times it can be a second or more.

I still believe auto pause is not working correctly. Today on a run without the phone, I dropped my keys, stopped to pick them up, the run paused as it should since I had auto pause turned on. I started running again, and assumed it resumed, unfortunately it didn't and further the watch completely froze up and had to be rebooted. It still seems auto pause has some bugs that need to be worked out. I turned it off for now as I don't like losing run data.

I'm getting a flickery screen on 'raise to wake' and Time Travel isn't working at all, with this latest beta. Haven't gotten around to bug reporting yet.

Time Travel is disabled in this beta by default. Go to the Apple Watch settings on the iPhone -> Clock -> Time Travel to turn it back on.

I seem to get the flickery screens too but they temporarily go away with a restart.

Mine is doing the same thing. Rebooted it with no progress.

I've been trying out the workouts apps.. battery life seems okay when using a workout, so no massive additional battery drain.

issue I have is though that the onscreen graphics for TIME, HR, DISTANCE are much smaller than before. anyone know how to increase the size of them. I have tried putting fewer of them in the workout details, but that only moves them around a bit. Would prefer the ability to have a bigger number like PACE or HR or TIME.

Also, in the green image this is the workout selection screen and the font is VERY small much smaller than it was ever before..

And notice this bug when the watch sometimes experiences is removal from the wrist, but not really but still when one has a workout running and has to enter the pass lock. It's a blur of both screens

updated: screenshots added.

Does anyone know if the auto-pause of workouts is exclusive to running workouts? I typically go for long walks as opposed to running and I'll set the workout to an outdoor walk. Anyone know if auto-pause is supposed to work for this as well? Depending on how they do it, I suppose maybe they wouldn't do it for walks because it's harder to tell when you've stopped than it is from a run.

Only indoor and outdoor running workouts

Don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't get my watch to last longer than 7 hrs before it's dead completely.

watchOS 3 beta 3
