Is the stand notification bug fixed in the latest 4.1 beta?

A few people have mentioned checking the wheelchair setting in your iPhone Health app's profile is set to No.

For what it's worth, it's always been working for me on a Series 2 in watchOS 4 (although the pulsing blue indicator in Activity is still missing, as it appears to be for most/everyone).

Thanks! I now switched the wheelchair setting from "Not Set" to "No" and nudged the stand reminder setting. I'll report back on my experience. But since I set up a brand new watch on 4.0 release and it did not work from the beginning it seems sensible it is something connected to my apple id, i.e. health.

Now I *did* get the reminder for the very first time on this new watch. However, it seemed silent = no vibration. And no "bilking blue bar" for me either.

Thanks

Is the stand notification bug fixed in the latest 4.1 beta? Since it stopped working around 4.0b4 on my series 0, it has never worked again. I even bought a new series 3 and set up as new watch and stand reminders refuse to work. It stopped working on 4.0 release for another friend as well.

Thanks
Yes works again in the last beta.

This has been my experience as well on my Series 2. I'm not sure if the wheelchair setting had anything to do with it, but I'm at least getting the reminders again. My stand reminders vibrate at least. The blinking blue bar is still missing though, which is frustrating, because that was invaluable, but the reminders are back at least.

Im on the 4.1 beta currently. Do I need to update my new Series 3 to 4.1 before I restore it from backup, or can I restore it from backup, and then update to 4.2 beta 2?

The easiest thing to do is see what backups are available to you upon setup. I think it stopped doing the [paraphrasing] “(not available on this OS version)” addendum in the list of recent backups.

I have yet to receive one on my S3 running 4.1

Where do I find this?
Open the Activity app. Scroll down to the blue stand bars. If you have already completed your 1-minute of standing, the blue bar will be solid, otherwise, it will blink at you until you complete it.

Did one of you get breath and or stand reminders back? For it's still not working. Thanks.

Stand reminders I get it pretty consistently. Breathe however is off and on and sometimes get it at odd times like when I’m sleeping at night.

Stand reminders works as expected for me since the last beta, including both the reminder at the 50 minute mark and the blinking blue bar in the Activity app.

I had the same issue when I updated to 4, did some digging and found a fix. This worked for me.

I have a first generation Apple Watch, since WatchOS 4, apart from not getting stand or breathe reminders I also don't get the achievement animations ever. I know some people had the same issue, does this beta fix that?

The achievement animations only appear if you look at your watch immediately when it happens. If it is already sitting in your notifications tray, you've missed it.

Pathetic really isn’t it?

Don’t think I’ve ever been looking at my watch when I’ve closed a Ring. Don’t know why they don’t just change it so it shows from the notification too.

I swear my series 0 watches are getting much faster to operate again with each 4.1 beta. The latest build is super. Where there was once lag - now it’s gone. Good on Apple for the optimisation.
Can concur. Even swiping watch faces is now a lag free experience.

The only lag I detect is selecting a workout and waiting for the countdown to appear.

wow! installed 4.1 beta and the watch is fast again. The workout app was awful in 4, in 4.1 it's pretty much as it should be. No lag! Great! (Series 0)

Just to make it clear here - 4.1 Beta 4 is still the newest right? People talk about GM and "leaked release notes" and more...
