Just upgraded my Series 2 Sport to watchOS 4. In workout mode for about an hour with heart rate sensor on and down to 95%. That seems about right to me.

Mine hasn’t worked since I installed os4. I read somewhere shortly after the first beta it was a known bug when I wasn’t being woken up.

Reset Settings an repairing the watch did it for me. Repairing was without backup, maybe it could also work with a backup.

It's broken for me too - I went straight to Beta 7. All other haptics (notifications, timers) work OK.

Reset (without backup) and re-pair didn't work for me this morning. Sad times.

I don't usually believe in complaining about betas, but I'm honestly can't wait for the GM of watchOS4 just for the simple fast that I want to see if background play for podcast apps will be resolved. The OS's background refresh effects a lot of non-stock apps right now, so hopefully these are wrinkles that get resolved once developers get their hands on Apple's finished product.

It’s close enough to GM where I’d comfortably say the maps data source feature is not ready for primetime. We will likely see it in a 11.0.x version.

Yeah. Unfortunate.

Has anybody tried impairing and repairing - to see if Maps appears?
Or setting up Watch as new?

For anyone who gets News notifications sent to your watch, in the notification, do you see the round News icon from the Apple Watch or the round-rect News icon from iOS?

Bad news folks. Apple engineering replied to my bug submission about Maps not being included on Siri face.
"Engineering has determined that this issue behaves as intended."

Can someone else try reporting the omission of Maps as a Siri face data source as a bug. We can see what Apple says?

I did mention as a response:
Based on the watchOS 4 Keynote, and in the iPhone Watch app - Maps SHOULD be listed as a data source. In the iPhone Watch app, the description for Siri face reads: "... or the traffic on your way home" If Maps really is now not being included in Siri face, the description in the iPhone Watch app needs to change.

hmm - still not seeing beta 8

Dev Beta 8 and public beta 7. There's been problem using software update on the device to update. I notice the best way is to have the device pair with the iPhone and use it normally. The software update will eventually show a badge for the setting icon and then you can update it. When you keep checking it, it won't show. When you don't it eventually do and it took me like 30 mins just waiting for it to appear after it was released.

Is anyone one else having trouble with Siri setting an alarm on your watch?
In watchOS 3 I could say “Hey Siri, turn on my alarm” and it would turn on the alarm on my watch.
When I say it on watchOS 4, Siri replies saying all alarms are on, but it hasn’t turned on the alarm on my watch.
Anyone else seeing this behaviour?
I have a Series 0 stainless steel.

I'm seeing this too. It works if you specify the time of the alarm you want to be enabled.
