Which if that is the case is a big fail - the functionality of being able to control iPhone music output with Apple Watch was great; I definitely don't want to spend my time syncing 20 songs here and there to the watch....

Same in beta 7

Do I not understand the Siri watch face or is it not working yet. Every option is turned on from Alarms to workouts and all that is ever showing is my calendar, news, breath and stocks. I can have active alarms, timers and more and it never shows. Hard to judge if it is even worth using if you can see the other options.

battery life on beta 7 actually a major improvement. I disconnected from the dock before 1pm and little after 8pm my battery is 94% but watch app usage shows 1 hours & 34 mins
Yes. Here too, Battery seems to be very stable. My Posting from yesterday concerning the batterydrain after Full Load in b6 seems to be gone :). All Fine now. Ipad, iPhone on ios11b7, Watch on b7, all Working seamlessly and Smooth. Weil done, Apple.

I'm more interested in the Messages complication having:
Delete ALL messages on the Watch?
When I delete on the iPhone it removes from the Watch (it does from the Watch to the iPhone in current 3.1.3 but not iPhone to Watch).
Read on either reflects on either.

PS: Who's in Charge if WatchOS and do they have a direct email or twitter and respond to inquiries?
I mean at least when I swype left and tap ''delete'' delete the damn thing do not ask me again to delete it.

After 7 hours of sleep with beta 7 installed and the battery was still at 100%. Same as the last public release of OS3. I also have background app refresh on for about 6 apps.

Figured out the Siri watch face. Alarm only shows when it is close to going off. Timer shows when running. Neither can be set or turned on from the Siri face unless it is one of the two complications.

I’d assume the point is to utilize the Siri complication/crown to quickly set those things.

I’ve noticed my Siri use has increased quite a bit since I started using this watch face. At first Siri was a slow responder, but it’s gotten quite a bit faster in the last two beta releases.

Exactly.

Plus the response and action currently takes too long. Kill the over glorified animation please Apple. Further, give us a delete all option or multiple select for deletion! Some times I wonder where Apple software engineers' heads are at.

So I had my watch exchanged by Apple because of scratches, and I turned off the Music app taking over the screen if I'm playing music on my iPhone or CarPlay (in WatchOS 4). But much to my frustration I can't find where to turn that off. I know I read it in one of the previous 130 pages (side note: wouldn't it be a lot better if every OS version had it's own thread instead of jamming it all in one?), but hopefully somebody can tell me how to do that before I have to scan all the previous pages. Please :)

Watch App (on iPhone) / General / Wake Screen / Auto-Launch Audio Apps / Done!

I know:
+''Hey we need to delete multiple messages on applewatch!''
-''Look at the clock icon. It's bolder now^^''
sigh....

Battery life is nearly back to normal for me on beta 7. I maybe finished the day with ~5% less than what I would have in watchOS 3 yesterday.

Just installed beta 7 after I had a complete battery drain today. Sadly the haptic alarm still is not working. It’s the one thing I want fixed. So frustrating. Why are they taking so long with this bug?

For me, beta 7 is a huge battery suck. No more ending the day with 50% power. I'm at 20 right now...

I have it on my Series 0 and with the Siri face on I get about 12-14 hours till it dies. On a 'normal' face (e.g. Modular) I get about 16-18. On WatchOS3 I am sure I got around 18-20.

Not sure If I should put it on my 'daily driver' Series 2 yet. I regularly get 40+ hours out of this. I am intrigued though to see if the poor usage on the Series 0 is due to it being a 28 month battery or because the Beta is a battery drain.

Any one got good/bad experience on a Series 2 on WatchOS4 B7?

[doublepost=1503561553][/doublepost]Yes. Here. I've a Series2 (Nike) with watchos4b7. With Siri-face on, i get around 40 hours with 2 hours workout, flight mode on at night. For me it's ok for a beta, seems to be 10% worst than watchos3.
Actually: loaded yesterday at 7 pm. Now 10 am, it is at 68% with 1h workout.

Gone for it. Putting Siri face on to see how it fares :)

I have had on for 9 hours now with modular face. No workouts or music. Just wrist raise to show time. At 52%. This time yesterday with beta 6 I was going into power reserve.

Pre-beta I used to only charge in the car on my drive in the am and pm. And wore at night with a sleep ap and still had enough for the gym in the am. Now I just let it charge at night. But it is almost 2 years old too.

I just REALLY miss my silent alarm.

What do you mean? I sleep every night with the watch on and the alarm is muted but vibrates to wake me. This has worked throughout all the betas.

Mine hasn’t worked since I installed os4. I read somewhere shortly after the first beta it was a known bug when I wasn’t being woken up.

It’s worked for me on every beta version. I sleep with my watch on every night for the past two + years and neve has a problem. Beta 3 or 4 made the AutoSleep app quit working but only that one beta.

I use the alarm and vibration to wake me up as well. Love it.

By the way, I hate that people write and reviews note that you can’t use the AW for sleep tracking or for an alarm because you have to charge. I can go 7-10 days by only charging while I shower and get ready.

In your case it could be age, but beta 7 has been th best fo battery life for me. Some of early ones were really bad but beta 6-7 have been good for battery. 7 being the best.

Sometimes you need to unpair and re-pair to fix issues with battery performance. If you are not getting close to the same battery life with beta7 as the last release of OS3, I would try the pairing again.

Beta 7 has been the best for battery and I have used all 7 betas.

I hope this is just an issue with my install - I've had my Series 2 on for half an hour this morning, and the watch is down to 84%.

It would be nice to see which watch apps are using the battery - like the iPhone does...
