Oh cool another useless answer that helps no one

It helps by limiting the number of bug reports posted in this thread.

You're free to open another thread about your issue. This thread is mainly for features introduced in watch OS that people may not know about. This can include tips, easter eggs, shortcuts, hidden settings and features but not bugs.

Question..Hopefully someone can help
Is it possible to have the watch vibrate (with wrist raise on) and not have the Green message notification pop-up?
Just have the little red notification dot show up with vibrate and watch screen come on?

I "think" you want the feature called notification privacy. Open the Apple Watch App and select notifications and then toggle on the Notification Privacy. Though I assume it will still flash the green notification, just no content.

To quote "when this is turned on, notification details will only appear when you tap on the alert."

Hope that helps.

Otherwise, ignore the feedback of a new alert for a few seconds and it goes away and leaves just the red dot. Doesn't help your question really but that is all I have left or know about.

Yes that helps but i just wanted the watch screen to turn on with just the red dot and the clock face, no green notification
I appreciate it though!

Can anybody with the Watch 0S2 beta tell me how the wifi function of the watch works? Does it work as advertised? Meaning, does it remember networks and connects to it by itself, without the phone near?

Yes it does. It shows a cloud icon in the settings glance when you are connected to you're phone by wifi instead of bluetooth.

I use the TP link 500 cloner (power line adapter) to extend the network in my house. The problem is although the network has the same name having the iPhone in one part of house and apple watch in another it doesn't connect via WiFi long term

Does it remember networks and connects to it by itself with new software sort this problem?

Thanks in advance

Looking forward to beta 4. I'm finding beta 3 incredibly buggy, much more so than I expected for a 3rd beta. Problems so far include:

* Siri doesn't always respond to hey Siri.
* Making a call from the watch sometimes fails.
* Workout app is useless, stops tracking, and heart rate sensor doesn't work.
* Animations and general performance stutters and lags.
* Random freezes needing a reboot.

I've got all the exact same problems... Hoping for Beta 4 today.

I´m also disappointed with Beta 3...
Hope that we get Beta 4 today and that it will be much better then beta 3 !!
In 9 hours I hope we can download Beta 4....

The activity complication in beta 4 is now colored instead of black and white.

It's pretty distracting now. I hope they make that an option in future betas.

Siri hardly works in b4. It is only some what reliably when not being used from the Watch face. This includes using "Hey Siri".

Alarms now work again

I've been running beta 4 for about an hour now and the watch has completely crashed and the OS restarted 3 times already... Not a very good update.

I agree, installed it, said "hey Siri", watch hung and the rebooted itself. I've used betas for years and enjoy them because aside from the lag and crashes it's fun to play with the new stuff. This time however, I'm kicking myself as I honestly don't see watch os2 as much of an upgrade. If I could revert back to os1 right now id do it without hesitation.

Same, I will never install another WatchOS beta again after this iteration...
