In colour in the Utility watch face:

Grrrr this is annoying! Watch screen decided it didn't want to come on now. Had to hold down the buttons to force a reboot. This is beta 4??

EDIT: Now the watch has rebooted itself because I was swiping through my glances :/

Did anyone else's watch brick while installing? I left plugged both devices in, tapped "install" and left both alone. I come back 15 min later and the watch is just rebooting constantly and won't show the watch face or anything.

Already requested a replacement, hopefully will get it in a couple of days. Definitely staying on 1.0.1 this time around.

For the nth time, this is not the bugs and annoyances thread. There are plenty of other threads you can use for that.

The Apple Watch has plenty of things that are not heavily featured in Apple's blog posts or articles, this thread will highlight those things for you!

A couple of new things I noticed in Beta 4:

* On some watch faces, the complications (not just the activity one like I thought before) are in color instead of black and white:

* On the modular face, you have to set the color to the last color available for the modular face to get colored complications (otherwise they just have the color of the modular face):

* The workout app now shows the heartrate (which was broken in beta 3)

For me b4 is overall less stable than b3...the navigation through the apps is faster but Siri is very very very slow to respond and the haptic isn't working great...trying to reintiate the watch and see if it improves...

For what it's worth, beta 4 for me seems faster than beta 3 for me. Haptic feedback is still working, Apple Pay working nicely and doesn't show the "card not available" that was there in beta 2, and Siri finally works and I can finally quickly ask it to set a timer for me. No random crashes (yet)

All in all, I'm happy.

Really? Does the cardio manage to calculate your heart beat on the this one? Did you have in the previous betas to set the watch up again so it would work faster? Don't understand why Siri would be so quick on yours but so slow on mine so trying to find a way around it...

Yep, the heart rate shows up fine for me in this beta, while in workout mode.

I did repair my watch in beta 3, but did not repair it for beta 4. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but the only minor complaint I have on this beta is the laggy animations.

Very strange...my watch suddenly works much much better including Siri...I guess it had to do with a very long time re-syncing all my data so it lacked performance...

I know this may be early, but is battery life any better compared to previous betas?

It is quite similar to b3 for me to be honest, I don't see a massive change but since I have been playing with it quite a lot today it must have drained it a bit. Still would do a full day without a charge.

Thanks for the reply. Really appreciate it!

To me, the battery life is worse than B3. My watch was fully charged at 7:30 am. And 4.5 hours later, it's down to 67% with very light usage.
