Mine too but I haven't updated to 2.01 yet. Ive read that it sometimes has to do with the heart sensor but other times bluetooth. I hope i find a solution but I did make an appointment for tomorrow just incase.

Let us know what you find out.

Well, something interesting. Since you mentioned the heart rate monitor I decided to go there and see if it worked. It did work and now my watch is back to normal, for the time being.

alert sounds seem significantly louder with watchOS 2.0.1 — in fact, the tones themselves may be different sound files altogether.

the bell-like Message tone is more piercing, and the end-of-Timer tone is way more noticeable.
I have the same issue. I have to reboot my watch everything when this happened. Did you figure it out how to solve this problem?

on the 1st pic, how do u get the watch face n blue.
It's in the customize portion, there are screens to swipe through to change colors. the other screens change complications, and the amount of detail in the watchface.
tribalhere10 is looking at the Simple face, which has no blue aside from the seconds hand, yet it comes out bluish when photographed by my iPhone. The small tick marks around the perimeter, especially, blur together and bring out the blue tint that LED/AMOLED lighting usually has.

For comparison; here's mine today, with light orange for the seconds hand and date, but the rest of it looks light blue. Or maybe tribalhere10 is asking only about the date and seconds hand being blue in the other post... ;)

Well it's happening again. Always locked up when I look at it. The heart rate monitor idea worked for about 10 minutes but doesn't last anymore. Is it time for a Apple Store visit or do I have another option? What happened with your visit?

After tapping one of the glances, what is the method to go back to the glances (so I can swipe left/ right and pick another one)? Currently I am having to press the crown which takes me back to the watch face and then I have to swip up again to bring up the glances.

Is there a "back" method from within any given glance?

Once you've tapped on a Glance, you've opened the corresponding app, and exited Glances. Don't think there is a "back" method other than what you're doing. I do the same.

Thank you so much!

Not sure if it has something to do with OS 2.1 but I noticed yesterday my Apple Watch died on me around 9pm (I normally have a good 30-40% at the end of the day. Today, I removed the watch from the charger around 9:45am, it's currently 1:54pm and it's already at 52% (I barely even used the watch, may checked the time a handful of times). Anyone experiencing this?

My battery life has actually been better. I unplugged it at 10am and it's currently still at 97% with light use throughout the day.

Over the last 24 hrs, my watch's battery life on 2.1 has been the same as before.

Mine dropped 25 percent overnight. I rebooted it this morning and it seems to be fine again

I've certainly witnessed noticeable improvements in various parts of the UI on 2.1:
  • Glances come up smoother and update noticeably quicker
  • The lag is reduced when choosing an emoji or canned response to a text
  • The lag is reduced when waiting for Siri to activate
  • The lag is reduced when opening/selecting a new workout
  • The lag is reduced when force touching to stop a workout
  • 3rd party apps generally load quicker and seem more responsive
  • Movement required to light the screen is reduced in Nightstand mode
These are all annoyances that I've had on 2.0 that are mostly resolved in 2.1.
All in all, 2.1 is a solid update thus far. It seems clear now that 2.0 was pushed out the door due to scheduling.

I don't know about checking the serial number, but my most entertaining guess comes from the Activity app on the phone. Mine has evidence of operating about three weeks before I bought it.

I had to go check mine after seeing this... Mine had activity a few time (4 separate days - 2 back to back days) ... Build week 40 per serial number which is first week of Oct.
