Hey guys I'm gonna buy an apple watch that already has watch os2 already installed on it. Will it pair with my 6s plus as is or will I have to reset as new?

You'll have to reset as new when pairing (it'll still have watch OS 2.0) if you don't already have a Watch backup available. Otherwise, you can simply pair it and restore from backup.

I tried reboot and reset and haptic vibration still not working the last 2 days. Any other fix to try?.... I really don't want to delete everything and set up as new.

Have you unpaired it from your phone and repaired it? It won’t lose anything, it will ask you if you want to reinstall a backup which it will create when you unpair it.

Did a reset and then restore from backup..... worked for a while and now its dead again. :(

I settee it up as new vibration still not working. Is there a way to return to os 1.01?

A few small details I like:

- When running, the watch taps me on the wrist for every km. So good!

- it clearly displays elapsed time and average time per km

- haptic silent notifications!

- the omnifocus complication

- the activity app. This app is really cool and easy to use.

- the different watch faces

- it looks good and is comfortable

- I am getting great battery life and it charges really fast

I find the OS overall to be very laggy. Theres a delay most of the time between pressing the button and having the watch react to it. Anyone else??

I have noticed some lag, particularly with actions such as the "Hey, Siri" activation and even lifting my arm to activate the watch face.

for me it is the same, especially in the trainings app it takes ages to react, runtastic is not working at all, some other apps are really slow, I am a bit dissapointed

Don't know if this is new with Watch OS 2, but you can go into the Phone app on the watch and swipe down to transfer a call from the phone to the Watch.

Use to be slow with the older os version and the beta but now I click on the workout app and it comes right up and force touch end is so much better. It would be slow to respond but now it is quick.

alert sounds seem significantly louder with watchOS 2.0.1 — in fact, the tones themselves may be different sound files altogether.

the bell-like Message tone is more piercing, and the end-of-Timer tone is way more noticeable.

Don't know if this is new but you can dismiss alarms and timers with 2.0.1. I don't remember this being in 2.0. Maybe I'm wrong?

Also, in the workout setting, there's a new "Pace View" setting that you can choose to show the current pace or the average pace overall. Don't know if this is new either.

I don't know about the alarm thing, but the pace view has been there since 2.0

Battery life has gone from OK to outstanding in watchOS 2.0.1.

67% battery life after a full day (6 AM till 10 PM). This is even with all the notifications and using the screens.

You are so right. Battery life has gotten a lot better. I'm getting about the same as you now.

Off the charger at 5am, here is just before I put it back on that night. Second full day with it.

Here's where we are so far today. Probably took it off around 7am.

I see the same thing. Good battery life even with workouts etc. Also this thing charges so fast! Within an hour it is fully charged, although it has rarely been below 50% when I charge it.

Does anyone know if there's a way to have your watch notify you if you're separated from your phone? My Pebble would vibrate if I got out of range. This was useful to me numerous times. Last week I took off for work and realized a couple blocks later that I forgot my phone at home. My Pebble would be vibrating before I left the driveway.

No, there isn't.

So I updated my watch to the 2.01 update this morning. No problems all day until about 7 PM tonight. Now I have to to unlock the watch every time I raise my wrist, like now its not sensing my wrist.

Is there some correlation between this and the update, or has the sensor fried in the watch?

I have rebooted the watch and the phone. Anything else I can try?

I have had the watch since Mid May with no issue.

Thanks in advance.
