Love the ability to change the interface from the honeycomb view to list view now. That's huge! Just didn't care much for the honeycomb, seemed messy.
Wasn't aware that this was an option now. Can you post a screenshot?

Does the installation takes a longer time since this is a bigger install?
About 30 mins

How is the general speed & stability? Okay enough?
If you can handle some resprings and some messed up graphics you can probably get by with it

I should have known better than to put it on my watch I'll have to send it in. On my watch its a steaming pile. iPhone is not much better already restored the iPhone
Odd, both are running fine here. Sorry to hear.

Anyone figured out NFC connection to treadmills etc yet? Tried it on an NFC enabled Technogym treadmill but couldn’t work out how! :S

No problem, easy to do. Go to the honeycomb view (grid view), 3D Touch brings up the menu options.

Wow, great find! I didn't see this mentioned at all in the keynote. This is just what this thread is all about! :)

On my end, I've discovered:
  • A new News app that shows three or more Top Stories (they're bite-sized)
  • Redesigned Workout UI with bolder text
  • Improved workout algorithm, Heart Rate calculation in particular seems to be more accurate and the watch spends less time thinking.
  • Bolder text for Notifications.
  • The Activity Reminders seems to be pretty strict haha. Today it told me off for "yesterday being off track". Yikes, guess I better run an extra mile today.
  • An "Express Connect" setting in the Workout Settings page on the Watch. Not sure what it does yet.

I have been sick with a cold these days and boy does it get cranky when you didn't finish any of your rings!

I know what you mean. Had fever for a few days. My ring this month won't be complete now. Devastating. :(

Can anyone corroborate this for me? The music app only shows me the music that’s on my watch. I don’t see the music on my phone like I used to.

Yes, that seems to be the way sadly. It shows purchased music, playlists and the music you have manually synced to the watch. The music app is no longer able to play the music on the paired iPhone (As far as I can see). Instead, it's an app to play the music on your watch with the paired bluetooth headphones.

Ugh. I hope they change that. So dumb I don’t why they keep doing stupid things like this. I like that you could pick your source watch or the phone.

Workouts

Huge improvements in Swimming workouts. It tracks your rest time, tracking your swimming styles (example Breastroke 300m, Freestyle 1200m,..) and showing quantity of strokes in Workouts app (previously you could see it in Health app). Active time vs Total time of swimming is not showed. It would be interesting to add this.

Sharing workouts not changed.
Also auto-pause of outdoor cycling still not supported. With Strava app on Apple Watch it works perfectly!

So the camera work during the keynote was disappointing, they jump to a different view when the slide was displayed showing the complete list of changes for watch OS4. So does anyone know where we can get a copy of the keynote slides? Or is there a change list available somewhere?
[doublepost=1496826507][/doublepost]Now that maps are available in Apple Health after a run, can you use an app like RunGap to export your run or cycle to strava with full map capabilities? I would prefer to use the activity app on my watch to record an activity but need a way of exporting

Heartrate app now has a chart listing the heart rate measurements in the last 24 hours
can anyone post a screenshot?

thanks in advance!

So, Series 0 owners: now that nearly 2 days have passed, how would you rate performance, particularly lagginess? Improved? I know it's beta 1, but initial indications may still be useful.

On Apple Watch Series 2 it's usable but works very slow and it's little bugy. Weather complication gets removed after restarts. The battery goes faster (remaing about 30% to end of the day, instead of 65-55%). Sometimes notifications don't coming to my watches (only phone).
No doubt on Series 0 the usage will be worst. Also running iOS 11 on my iPhone 6 Plus is difficult and phone is still warm. Speed optimalizations are expected to final beta versions, not the first one.
But I agree, first developer beta version of iOS 11 is running much more better than previous iOS's first beta versions (10, 9, 8 & 7).

With the redesigned Dock/App Switcher, can you still pin apps to it or does it always display the most recently used applications?
