Yep still looks like a laughable piece of crap.
Well since they just acquired beats, I would assume they'd be playing black music. Unless they wasted billions of dollars just to take a couple photos with Dr.Dre (MD)
The funny thing is, to people who REALLY know watches, Rolex is akin to Bose to people in the high end home audio world. In other words, a quality product, but overpriced for what it is strictly because of name recognition.

The Apple Watch looks better in that orb than it does in promo/press shots.
I hope they announce what white-people music that will come bundled with the watch. Fingers crossed for Nickelback.
Pink Floyd. Maurice Ravel. Mussorgsky. Debussy... not a huge multi-racial following among the classical impressionists it seems. Not that it's expressly prohibited in any way, but, along mainstream cultural lines, it's pretty well neglected &/or rejected as being "white people music". ...sadly, so is Jazz these days, when it's anything but.
Sure, but it's to be expected.
what exactly is "white-people music"?..and if I say "black-people music" will someone get offend?

I'm 80% sure I won't be buying an Apple Watch, but every time I see the stainless with the Milanese strap, that number gets squishier. I think that look is stunning.
I'm betting Coldplay, or U2.
Overrated...
I want to see what is going to happen once it goes for sale... I do not like it.
Quadrupled, and then quadrupled again, I think.
Yeah, people are going to lose their crap when the "Edition" costs $5-10k. It's solid gold people! Rolexes cost several times that. They even created a new kind of gold that is twice as hard. Apple has metallurgists working for them now reinventing gold—and everyone glosses over that like its no big deal. That's what $100B in the bank buys you: better gold. Just think about that for a minute. What pisses me off is I'm not even sure if I'll be able to afford the stainless steel model. I'm not going to plunk down $1000 for a watch that will be outdated in a year. But I don't want it to look like a cheap sports band in the $350 model. My hope is that the bands are interchangeable from year to year and we can easily swap out the body. I refuse to upgrade yearly but maybe every 3 years if I can swap out the body for a lower price.
Billy Joel is releasing a new album according to BillyJoelRumors. It's supposed to only be available to Apple Watch buyers.

I'm really excited to see Apple move into a new market. Who would have thought a few years ago that Apple would move into the higher end fashion jewelry market. Pretty neat to see how this will play out for Apple.
