It didn’t “leak”. Apple announced it themselves, and it’s intentional to help the battery health of the mini. And Apple doesn’t release features for Spotify, Spotify does.

Variable. You will never get a clear answer from everyone, just depending on how long you are using the app for and anything else is running in the background. But to make an obvious guess, I would definitely say it’s a decent impact on the battery dropping fairly quick, especially with LTE.And battery life?
Finally after all this time, now can Apple make it so that I can load my own music on the watch ? Short answer they don't want to.

I moved on to Apple Music just because of offline support, but its recommendation engine is really bad in comparison to Spotify's. I hope Spotify stop procrastinating and add offline support so I can ditch Apple Music.

It's not Apple's fault, other apps have offline music on the Watch. Spotify simply never implemented it.
I was a faithful iTunes customer before streaming took off, but Spotify IMO is much better at suggesting music based on what I’ve listened to. Apple Music doesn’t seem to have a clue in that department.

I have been waiting for this for ages! Now all it needs is offline playback and it will be feature-complete as far as I am concerned. Sadly in Australia you can get prepaid apple watch cellular add-ons. You need a contract
