I've just tried to check on my order status and it says on orders are not available at the moment. Has anyone else experienced this before?

I'm in France and it's the same .So definitely not only the OK .

I'm expecting an email "dear john we are really sorry but we have made a royal ******* up your watch will be delivered some time this year IF YOUR LUCKY
 
My guess is they're giving their chat reps a break. They've earned it.

Just wanting to let everyone know that it is well worth the wait. Easily the best watch and smart watch I have owned. Feels excellent on the wrist, long battery, apps are useful, and activity tracker works perfect.

That's good to hear! With all the anticipation and concerns over "when is it coming?" I was thinking that the Watch itself would end up being anticlimactic for a lot of people.

It's human nature to get oneself so excited about something that when you finally achieve it, there's no way it can possibly live up to the expectation. It's one of the reasons I have tried (not always successfully) to avoid getting caught up in the frenzy while I wait.

What's going on with Apple now?I can't even check my status to see that is is still in processing? :mad:

So let's say that the watch takes up twice the space that the iPhone 6 does. That means according to the website http://uk.flightaware.com/live/iphone there is roughly 400 and some odd thousand watches in route to Louisville KY right now? Seems like with all the flights that have landed thus far the entire U.S. Supply should be here by now. I'm just wondering if anyone really knows if those really are Apple Watch supply planes.

That's assuming that the planes are 100% watches. Even if it is all apple supple it could be computers, phones, watches, accessories, etc...
 
Same Song and Dance

Just chatted with Apple...same song and dance. The rep mentioned she was not aware of the issue with Order Status Service.

Also, they repeat the same thing each time and sound like you are in a counseling session; instead of receiving the real reason of why particular models have not prepared for shipment.

It is becoming obvious that there is a problem that Apple doesn't want to address. Because they do have a window of May 8th for a lot of 42mm SS BSB...I am thinking that they are hoping to have it resolved by then. Now this is just observation; not fact. But, anyone that is a loyal customer of Apple and have done launch preorders know that this is not the norm for APPLE. Is this poor management by Angela? or Tim? I know this it not how Steve would of wanted it.

Yes, we have all been patient and we shouldn't be upset with what is just an adult toy for most of us...But, it's the frustration of not receiving the true fact with the issues and the misconception. Also, being told that the order are being shipped in the order they were received??? Really, if that was the case, most of us would not be in this chat forum and would be enjoying our watches.

I know people who have received the EXACT same model as me despite the fact they ordered over an hour after me, I didn't beleive these stories at first but I've heard it first hand now......


Now I can't trust a word Apple say to me. Where exactly are we supposed to get our information from as paying customers? Apple are saying nothing, their sales reps are USELESS and the media are oblivious.


£600 to be spat in the face is a bit steep.
