Apple Watch Order Statuses Shifting to 'Preparing for Shipment'

I'm in Cali I finalized my pre order on 4/10 12:20am. My status changed to preparing for shipment at 4:00pm today 4/20

I can only imagine how fast Karl Lagerfeld and Beyoncé must have been refreshing their browsers to be able to get their gold watches delivered so quickly.

I have a 2:03 (central) confirmation and my pink 38 sport is still processing. My dad's watch, which I ordered after mine, is preparing for shipment. Go figure :) Oh well. It will come eventually.

Anyone who ordered a pink have it changed yet?

Don't jump the gun. Try marital counseling first. I believe all wounds can be healed.

I don't think any of the pink band watches are shipping. My white 38 sport is shipping yet my girlfriend's pink 38mm sport isn't while they are on the same order. I'm hoping I'll wake up tomorrow with a alert from bank with 350 charge for hers. (Pacific time)

Imagine being irritated about this and hormonal all at the same time and you'll understand why I've been in my office down here alone instead of trying to communicate about this with anyone in my house. My husband is excited about his, but he's good at compartmentalizing.

We're all in this (online) together.

Until one of us gets our order shipped, then we're off to another thread. ;)

Same for the 38mm SS w/black sport band.

Which is a comfort, because they're probably just another batch and they'll get done soon.

The perplexing part for me is that some of the 38mm Milanese have been charged (seems like the ones before 12:05 Pacific) and some have not. Mine is 12:07 Pacific and if Apple doesn't take my money and switch my watch over soon to Preparing for Shipment, I'm gonna get all sulky.

Does anybody with "processing" have a full, pending charge from Apple showing up on their cards? Curious because mine showed up recently and I am still on processing and had a 4/24-5/8 delivery window.

Do you people honestly think that Jobs would have hired Angela Ahrendt let alone allowed her to devastate the Apple culture/hype of the Store experience? If so, then you are giving tacit approval to what Scully did in the '90s.

Like someone who knows an apple employee said earlier they are processing these according to type. I'm betting the 38mm SS black strap people will have their cc's processed in a batch soon. I ordered mine at 12:06 pacific so I hope so anyway.

Quit the childish "WWSJD" piffle - it's time to wake up and realise this is Tim Cook's Apple, and stop clinging onto desperate hopes of the past. Sheesh.

So yes, they are processing thousands but NOT millions.

Unbelievable... Bought the exact same model at exactly the same time... Well, 3:06am ET. What a coincidence. Like you, mine's still being processed.
 
38MM White Sport purchased @ 12:10 PST preparing for shipment.
42MM Black Sport purchased @ 12:03 PST still pending.
 
Well this is weird. UPS is telling me Its going to be delivered TOMORROW. 4/21??

CAN THIS BE?

Edit: It might actually mean it will be "delivered" to UPS tomorrow, I assume.

How did you search UPS for tracking if no number has been issued yet? I know it can be done, I'm just unsure on how to do it... Thanks!

FYI for anyone that wants to know-------------------------------------------

The Black Sport I ordered at 3:03am (EST- NYC) went to "Preparing for shipment"

The SS Milanese I ordered BEFORE that at 3:02 is still processing!
