Seeing all this about the delivery dates actually gives some good hopes for those who aren't able to pre-order yet (the Dutchies like me, for example). Might still be a release date of June for us, but I would be totally happy with that. As long as it's not going to be July or later. :p

Speaking of that, how does this whole 'batch' system work? Does every country get its own batch Apple Watches? So that it doesn't depend on how many have been ordered in the US, UK, Germany etc? I mean, it would be a shame if I had to wait for weeks until I can pre-order my Apple Watch, let out that I might have to wait even longer before it actually arrives. :(

UK 42mm Space Grey

hi, I managed to get an order through at 8.02am (in the UK) and my order still states processing with a delivery estimate of 24/4 - 8/5

My American Express card hasn't been charged as yet

There have been no changes to UK orders as of yet, have a 38mm Sport and a 42mm Sport waiting in the wings, hopefully for Friday.

Will My Apple Watch Arrive Early?

Like the impatient buyers we are, we called Apple regarding the Watch coming early. For those with the earliest possible ship date (April 24 - May 8), you likely will not receive the Apple Watch before its release date. The company has deals set in place with Fed Ex and UPS that prevent either delivery service from giving out the devices early, even if they receive your order prior to April 24.

Though if you’re in the first batch of shipments and are still worried about receiving the Watch closer to May 8, don’t. The May date is in there just in case an uncommon occurrence happens. Since the delivery of the smartwatch isn’t in Apple's hands, they’d rather promise a later date and have it arrive early than promise an earlier date and have it miss that window. As with most things, it’s better to under-promise and over-deliver.

No one can say for certain. But one of Apple’s customer service reps told us if you receive a shipment notification by Tuesday or Wednesday, odds are you’ll have your Apple Watch by Friday, the April 24.

UK 8:06AM order. Still 'Processing Items' and 'Delivery: 24/4-8/5 by Standard Shipping'.

I suspect UK orders will not move to the Shipping/Dispatch stage until much later in the week, as couriers here offer standard 24 hour shipping services to any address (it being a much smaller country). There is no need for apple to dispatch anything until Thursday.

Anyone in the UK seen any changes yet? Cards debited or order statuses changed? Even a pending payment?

I've seen nothing yet and I ordered my SS with classic buckle at 0802. I've even taken a day off work for it and I'll be absolutely gutted if it doesn't come on Friday especially as I'm at work pretty much solidly for a week afterwards.

I ordered my 42 mm stainless with Milanese at :07. Shipping says normal 4/24-5/8. I had AppleCare charge of $69 on my credit card for a couple of days but then I just looked and it disappeared #. I hope I still get it Friday! My order still says processing. Any thoughts?

Surprising... I read more comments, it looks like sport models are going faster than SS models.

I ordered my 42mm stainless with Milanese, got my email confirmation at 12:04:01am (PST) still processing. My wife ordered the ss with classic buckle at 12:05 and hers is preparing to ship and she was charged for it.

Nothing happening on my UK order. I remember similar on previous pre-orders I have done. The US always see their preparing for dispatch long before we do in the UK. I wouldn't worry too much, you will likely get it on Friday but may not seen any movement until tomorrow.

Has anyone in the UK or Ireland seen their status change yet or have their payment lifted from their account?

I hope you are right. Although when I bought my MacBook Air, it arrived on the date they said it would, but they didn't bother taking the money for around a week after it arrived. I was beginning to wonder whether I was getting a free one!

Now that is strange...I've pre-ordered about 5 times but never had that happen!

Has anyone in Germany seen status changes?

Got a confirmation at 3:01, but still no changes

42 mm SS with Black Sport Band

If it makes any of you feel better I ordered the Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Black Sport Band with a confirmation e-mail at 3:01 Eastern and still have not been charged. Still processing. This is worse than Christmas!!! Also my estimated delivery date is 4/24-5/8.

When I placed my order for the 42mm space grey sport, it gave me a 4-6 week delivery. I just checked my status now and it shows as preparing for shipment. So I'm not sure apples whole system as to when your watch will ship is accurate.

Source? You either plagiarized this from somewhere without citing a source or made it up. Either way, not cool.
