Something I have noticed too is that all the orders that have received a notification from UPS my choice have also originated from the Mount Juilet location, which is not far from Louisville where they are all being shipped to first. It would make sense that the Tennessee hub is getting their tracking out first since after the apple watches arrive in Louisville from China, they have to be re-routed again to another Hub closer to your home. I believe there are hubs in Indiana, California...And Texas? I don't know for sure

42MM Stainless Black Sport Band
I haven't seen a single person who ordered a 42MM SS with black sport band say that theirs is shipping or has been charged yet, so for those saying they don't think we will get them Friday, I think there is still a good chance for us. From reading all of these comments (yes, all of them), it seems as if they are being sent in batches, grouped together by the combination of watch and band. This gives me hope that the SS watches with black sports bands are still en route and just haven't been entered into the system yet. I really don't think that no one who ordered the SS/black band combination will receive any this Friday when others are receiving theirs. Surely some of every combination of watch will be able to be delivered! At least that's what I'm really hoping for!

Yes, 42mm just edited my post. With what you've said, there really can't be much rhyme or reason to how they are processing the orders.

But really truly, I'm so amazed there are so many neurotics like me, feeling the way I do and I'm just glad I've had this thread because in real life I feel crazy mentioning my frustration.
First world problems. I have relatives who are being persecuted in Iran for their sexual identity and they have real problems, so this feels so stupid In comparison but I can't help this anxiousness because I'm a control freak and I think that's the nuts and bolts.

38mm SS and 42mm SS
I ordered a 38mm ss and 42mm ss with white sport bands (I tried to get the 42mm ss with black sport band but it pushed out to 4-6 weeks while I was ordering my wife's 38mm) Both have changed to Preparing for shipment and charged to my card. I also went to the UPS tracking page and was able to see it scheduled for Friday. Not sure how they are doing it but it almost seems random. Hopefully yours will change soon. Best of Luck

I wonder if I had ordered this to my home in the South (Berkshire) I would be in a very to scenario than having it shipped to my university address in the North (Yorkshire).

There doesn't seem to be a pattern to the way they're going out.
I found out mine was coming yesterday by checking my credit card available credit. By working out the balance, what my limit was and my available credit, I could see there was a charge of the price of the watch. Perhaps have a look at that? Or if you are desperate to know, ring them and see if there's a charge from Apple.
My 'preparing' status only changed this morning so don't lose hope yet!

You know what I just thought of? I wonder if they used all of the black sports bands to go with the Sport watches, and now they are in shortage for the people who ordered the SS with the black sport bands. I hope not, because I have a 42mm with BSB on preorder and am REALLY hoping to get it Friday. But it's a thought.
They sold so many more Sport watches than any others, and many of those had black sports bands.
Something I have noticed is that there is no actual system of how people are getting charged and shipping notices.
I have read it all here:
-It is based on located
-It is based on which model you bought
-It is based on how many you bought
-It is based on what carrier they are using for your area
In reality, none of those are true because if you read all the comments in this thread you will see that there are multiple occasions where those are contraticed.
I know people down the road from me who ordered two watches, one like mine - space gray sport 42, and one SS 42, both got charged for with tracking numbers on Monday, mine hasn't even been charged yet. My extra charger is on the way but the watch fell off the grid and I ordered 20 minutes before them so it doesn't make sense.
Let's make a pact.
