Apple Watch Order Statuses Shifting to 'Preparing for Shipment'

Add me to the list... have the same order and time and circumstances. I'm in L.A. Hubs or distribution centers are right next door to me (figuratively), so if they get in tomorrow, it should still be deliverable by Friday. Just have to see the charge! lol
you say A LOT of people... I've been reading these threads for my particular model the 42mm SG Black Band, and the time of the order seems to be 12:02 where they cut off. I've seen a few 12:03's saying that they have also been charged. But after that time? I have not.
Not sure if this offers hope or not, but a friend of mine and I both ordered 42MM SG. He got his conf. email at 3:02, mine came at 3:04.
His CC was charged and status changed to Preparing on Monday afternoon, whereas mine hasn't budged.
We're about 10 miles apart in central NC.

FYI - This is not the only forum I am following, the only one I am commenting in, but you will be surprised what you find on google.
My order was at 12:03 (email confirmation), what time was yours if you don't mind me asking. FYI - I don't have to look elsewhere, as this seems to be a pretty good representation of the mix of folks who ordered.
I may be incorrect about the Leather loop although I am 99% it is, but yes, 1 SS and 1 Sport Space Gray both with a Preparing to ship, he was charged on Monday around 3PM
he probably got a confirmation of 12:02. seems like everyone with 12:02 has seen a charge and ready to ship. im 12:03 so i'm still hopeful
Just spoke with an apple rep. Made it quick and tried not to be irritating as I am sure they get a lot of annoying people contacting them lol. So let me tell all that was said in chat so that I can hopefully put SOME of your minds to ease (excluding those worried about SS Black Strap as that is probably a supply issue).
I asked if he had any info on how watches are being sent out, he didn't really give me any info on that, just that they are still arriving in the U.S and even those that are arriving today and tonight will have a strong possibility to be shipped and delivered by Friday depending on location.
I then asked him if they were doing deliveries with both UPS and Fedex or with only UPS. He then said that they are using both Fedex and UPS. He said that 99% of the time, if you have ordered something from apple before (preorder or not), the watch will come by the carrier your other items have arrived by (for me it is Fedex).
He then went on to tell me without me even asking:
"Let me pull up your order. We do ship with both Fedex or UPS. It depends on location.
The good news is your order is in preparing to ship status. No tracking yet so I can’t say what day you’re getting Watch. BUT it could be Friday.
Tracking on your order should be available soon."
I then said okay that sounds great thank you, thinking I was ending the chat, when he continued and told me:
"Everything looks fine with your order. I would check back tomorrow morning. If your getting Friday we should have tracking info by then.
You ordered about as fast as humanly possible !!"
So really, this chat answered a few of my questions that I had, even if they weren't blatantly said.
1. Fedex is most likely delivering my package, so i can quit checking UPS my choice every 10 minutes.
2. Apple is not going to upload any tracking on THEIR site until Thursday seeing as how they are shipping 1 day.
3. I will most likely get mine Friday, granted he is being serious by saying I ordered that fast. As I have mentioned, I believe I ordered at 3:01 and received confirmation through email at 3:02.
So, for all those who have "preparing to ship", perhaps it is coming fedex and that is why we have no tracking? Anyways, just wanted to share, I know there are a lot of anxious fanboys out here

Has ANYONE that ordered a 42mm SS with black sport band seen any movement in your orders or charges to your cards? My apologies if this was asked earlier & I missed it.
