Apple Watch Pre-Orders Now Shipping for April 24 Delivery

42mm space gray. Yesterday, in the space of 1 hour, my credit card was charged and it went from "processing" to "preparing for shipment." I believe it is already stocked at a distribution hub and I will receive a shipment notice this evening and my watch tomorrow. I base this on multiple years of experience in the same situation with iPhone shipping.
Following these threads is making me crazy. I ordered 42 SS Milanese at 4:30 in Maryland. May 13-27 delivery. I've been coerced by all these threads to compulsively check my order, which remains "Processing".
I'm going to reward myself with a new Macbook Pro 13" Retina if I can resist checking my order status until the Watch actually arrives at my office.

My credit card was charged along with everyone else's but I haven't gotten a shipping notification. I'm guessing mine isn't come tomorrow. White 38mm. Also ordered Grey 42mm but that ship window isn't until May.
Apple wouldn't let me process my order because they didn't like my billing address for some reason so my order for delayed a few mins.

Green 42mm Sport, charged on Monday, landing Friday
I'm in So Cal and got a shipment notification this AM 0735 Pacific time for the green sport that got charged on Monday.
My wife's 38 mm SS w black sport band is still pending, but I would expect a ship notification later today.
Looks like we may be firing "creepy heartbeats" this weekend!

No, I received no email.
Mine just changed from processing items to preparing to dispatch once they took the money.
24 hours later I got the dispatch email.
I've submitted a photo of the email, although awaiting the post to be authorized.
Seattle here and I am still getting preparing shipment as of 8am. I am not worried though, with a little digging and research with like stories, I feel confident that if we have this message and we ordered to get in the 4/24 - 5/8 window, we will get it on the 24th...unless you are in an area will slow deliveries.
If it changes today I will let you know. My guess is that we will see the notifications around 11am our time.

White 42mm, still processing
I may be one of the worriers, but my white 42 mm, ordered on 4/10 at 1:06 still says preparing to ship. Credit card was charged Monday night, but I'm kind of wondering if I'm going to wake up to a watch tomorrow.

apple: pay) was charged then also. I checked the UPS site yesterday and nothing, but tried again this morning and got the tracking # (A UPS shipping label has been created)My brother's Sport 42 MM with white band lives in the the Chicago Area and his is being delivered tomorrow.
My Sport 42 MM SG on the other hand doesn't appear to be heading my way tomorrow.
I just talked to someone at Apple and they said there was a very good chance that people like us will get their watch tomorrow, but at the latest on Friday. I ordered the 42mm space grey with black sports band and had my confirmation order at 12:03 am PST. I searched UPS with my phone number and it does appear a package is set to deliver to me on Friday, but the order is currently "Order Processed: Ready for UPS."
Just relaying what I was told.
If you divide the year into "early" and "late", then they certainly did deliver.
If you divide the year into "early", "mid", and "late" they they also did deliver.
If you divide the year into four parts, then name them (the first one MUST be "early", and the rest have to follow that theme, and it has to be something that is commonly understood), and then you can say they didn't make it.
Also, if they had every intention and expectation of delivering in February or March at the time they made the promise, but something unpredicted changes the situation, at what point do they need to activate the time machine or send out the Men in Black with their neuralyzers?

I then made a bee-line to the Apple store 4 cities away, stood in line again, enjoyed the energy of the people in line and got the iPhone.
Even though AA may have removed the line for the Apple Watch launch, we as people managed to recreate it by obsessing over the concern would we or would we not get one, and discussing our concerns in our virtual lines inside these social forums.
No matter how much things change, they always remain the same.
Remember, even if we don't get a watch on Friday, the sun will rise on Saturday!

One of the posters above claims one is shipping to his house in Southern California.
Not to make you feel worse, but my friend ordered the same thing around 8am ET and he's getting his tomorrow. His original window was June.
It's one thing to have a backlog due to strong demand, but there's no way you should be getting yours after my friend. I really don't know how Apple screwed this up so badly.
"Preparing for shipment" means it has left the Apple facility and is en-route to a Fedex/UPS distribution hub. Your credit card should have been charged too.
