Apple Watch Pre-Orders Now Shipping for April 24 Delivery

Still haven't gotten an email for my 38 mm space black sport watch yet... I got up and ordered it within an hour of when preorders opened too! Still says processing on the website and all... Can't imagine how backed up the orders must be if I haven't heard anything yet!
My 42 milanese shipped today via next day air, delivers tomorrow. Nice!

I'm in Southern California also and all my Apple packages come from FedEx. Also still preparing for shipment and zero emails. Fingers crossed!
The Watch is available on 04.24.2015. The Watch as a category will be delivered on that date. That does not mean every configuration is available on that date. In any event, before people placed their orders the delivery window was stated for the watches. If people receive their watches in that delivery window, I don't see how anyone could reasonably argue any form of lying or false advertising on Apple's part.

I was so excited last night when I got an email but then when I read it it was just a thing saying we're still processing your order but in the meantime watch these new videos... my delivery is 4/24-5/8. I get that this is probably the one they have the highest demand for... but I'm still going to be really pissed when i start seeing videos tomorrow of people unboxing their 42mm SG Black sport... and doing scratch tests and drop tests.

I ordered the second pre-order was available (3:01am Eastern). 42mm Space Gray with Black Sports Band....
I am screwed too. I attached the e-mail I got from Apple.
I agree with others that they shouldn't have put the 4/24 time window if they weren't going to ship ANY on 4/24. I honestly didn't care about the color too much. I would have gladly picked a different band or the silver sport if they would have advertised a different shipping window for this model (which it obviously is a different window). To everyone attacking us saying "well the window says until May 8th, so you'll get it by May 8th, stop your whining," I say, it just seems a little dishonest to put the dates exactly the same as other configurations which they DID intend to start shipping for the 24th. I don't think it is a surprise to Apple that none of this configuration is getting shipped today.

Ordered 42 ss black sport band. Confirmation 3 min after it went live. No change, just preparing. I am holding out hope that these are stateside and will change at the last minute, but those hopes are diminishing.
I also did not receive the email of death, so maybe there is hope. Or maybe no email means may5th.
I realize the scope of this launch, but they have done this year after year. Not the end of the world, but if Angela enjoys big store based product launches, maybe she should go back to those asap. It has always been if you managed to get an online order in within the first 30min, you were in on launch day- which everyone here must agree is a big part of the fun as an Apple fan.
As a stockholder, I hope they learn from this experiment.

Pretty sure this model is not being shipped for tomorrow anywhere. Haven't seen a single person have this one past processing. I ordered mine at :01 and received confirmation at that time and no movement but the 42mm space grey I ordered for my significant other is being delivered tomorrow.
Weird, the money that was taken out of my account on Monday for the watch is back in there? Uh oh...

It appears that no shipments verifications have gone on out on the west coast. I hope that is the case and I will get notification before the end of the days. Ordered the 42 blue sport
I have printed out a letter with UPS tracker number and shipping info saying I grant permission to leave package and taped to my door in past in these situations and my driver left.
Really at their discretion.
I was initially looking at the link band, but I saw "June" and decided to get the classic band. I tried on the link band in the store, and decided it was a bit heavy, so I ordered the Milanese loop band as an extra. I should get that in the next 2-3 weeks.

I live in CA finally got tracking info from UPS. I ordered two watches 38 Sport white band, and 42 SS white band. Both are scheduled for delivery on 4/24 excited.
What I thought was interesting is that the weight of the Sport watch is 1.4 lbs, and the weight of the SS watch is 3.10 lbs almost 2lbs more. Must be the packaging, because I know the weight of the watch is not that much.
