Many others wrote the same, that they are pleased or satisfied with their Apple Watches.

That's not the point I am making. Apple, Facebook, Google etc seem to think it's important to bombard us with notifications, alerts & messages all day long. They design their products to constantly nag us all day long for attention. As humans, we have fallen in line with this mentality. We think we need to react immediately to them.

I've started to get annoyed by all the notifications I receive on a daily basis and I think to myself "**** it, I'll reply/respond/react when *I* can be bothered too". At the end of the day, it's never that important. It's bad enough getting nagged by my iPhone/iPad/PC/iMac/MacBook and even my damn smart TV all day long, I think it would send me over the edge if my bloody watch started to cry for my attention as well.

It's a good product, if you are into smart watches. Really looking forward to the OS update

It's the most expensive. Owners can't afford embarrassing themselves by admitting dissatisfaction

Well, since it was you who brought that up, I assume that's something you would feel compelled to do if you owned an Apple Watch. Projecting your behavior on others is never a good thing - most people are much stronger than that and are not that easily embarrassed.

The Apple Watch is useful for me in many other ways, not only to get notified about incoming messages, alerts or notifications. It's a little computer that can do much more like that.
And by the way...you can customize everything on the Watch according to your needs, activating or deactivating it.
If you don't need it, don't buy it. For me, it's nice to have, but not essential.

Uhm, I didn't buy other smartwatches. I'm saying I'm 100% satisfied with MY purchase, and didn't say a thing about any other brand. Also, please cite the competing watch which will unlock a Mac running Sierra out of the box?
Please site any watch that can do that out of the box. As far as I know, there isn't one in existence that can unlock a Mac running Sierra out of the box. The bigger question is why is a Mac running Sierra out of the box? What were they doing in the box? Did she cheat on him? If the Mac's running Sierra out of the box, maybe we should leave the Mac locked. :D Just messin' with that dangling modifier.
Everyone should enjoy their watches. The best watch is use case and aesthetic preference dependent.

All well and good, but who's buying these watches? Tim Cook won't tell us, so you can be sure that sales are dismal, otherwise he would trumpet them to the heavens.

And separating them from fitness bands seems pretty silly, as they overlap so much. The market for the Apple Watch basically consists of those who want a fitness band and those who want notifications.

A satisfied customer is all very well, but if there are only a ragged band of the faithful few, then the watch will flop, I'm afraid to say.

Samsung doesn't tell us Galaxy S7 or Note 5 sales. Therefore they are dismal. Same for S6, S5 and Note 3. All dismal sales.

It doesn't matter how much they sold. It's the personal user satisfaction that counts and I'm very satisfied with it.

You are confusing the Apple Watch with the Pebble, apparently. You can't see the bezels at all on the AW.

Talking about Pebble, they were not even on the list. WTH?!?

So apple has 5, the next closest runner up is Samsung at 2, and other with the same. How- (HOW!) does that average out to 3? The average of these number is 840 which is 2 bubbles, not 3. Are we sure this is to be taken for real? 847 is NOT the average of those given.

Apple earned a satisfaction score of 852 out of 1000, and a five-out-of-five Power Circle rating, compared to runner-up Samsung's score of 842 and two-out-of-five Power Circle rating. Sony, Fitbit, and LG rounded off the top five smartwatch manufacturers with scores of 840, 839, and 827 respectively.

DID THEY FORGET ABOUT PEBBLE?

My spider sense is tingling about that too. I think it's because of the way they worded the question (deliberately or not) - "Smart Phones purchased in the last year". The majority of Pebble owners would have purchased over a year ago, so are elimnated from sharing their satisfaction. Sneaky, maybe.

Of course you don't find it ironical projecting your 'strength' on others while lecturing me on the same
