Apple Watch Series 2 Pre-Orders! Shipping Estimates, Order Time and Everything Pre-Order

My Watch (42mm rose gold) is scheduled for delivery the first week in Oct. When I look at my order in the Apple Store, it can't be cancelled or edited. I didn't intend to do either, so np. But, I find it odd that an order shipping in 2-3 weeks can't be modified.

it's a conspiracy I'm sure.
 
I ordered a 38mm stainless steel with the saddle brown classic buckle. I got a delivery date of September 16th. I also ordered an iphone 7 plus which has already been charged on my card but the watch hasn't been charged yet.

Really do not wish to be popping a link when I am out and about. The metal link band is not near as comfortable as the leather loop but everyone has choice. There were times when I ran that I wanted to tighten the band up and not willing to carry a ziplock to keep my spare link in😛

HAHA! so true, carrying around a ziplock would be funny to see. I am surprised your wrist fluctuate that much, maybe you need more/less water or something lol anyway.

I agree that the leather loop is super comfy. I had one and returned it before the return period because for some reason whenever I would move my wrist the magnets would shift creating what felt like the haptic. So i took it back and ordered a few third party leather bands.

Does not change that much but I like to wear my watches pretty loose which is fine until I want it to track HR. The loop allows instant changes.
 
6:30am EST ordered the 38mm Hermes for the bride with the red band (shhh, it's a surprise)

Shipping "In 2 week" delivery "September 30"

Can't wait to check out the ceramic in person. Need to see it (with my bands) to decide whether to go SS or ceramic for S2.

yeah good point. I keep mine not loose but not tight...secure i guess is a good description. I like a little looser watches, well i did 2 years ago before the AW, but now I like to keep it secure so that I get credit for my HR and stuff throughout the day without it missing any due to lack of consistent contact. Anyways nice talking to you. I love you.

do you have a black SS link? I really want to see it on a ceramic. if it came with a black SS link I would have bought it in a heart beat but even more so a ceramic white link!!!! that would have been amazing.

If I had a bit more money this quarter (just bought a house), I'd have gone Ceramic to latch on to my Space Black Link Bracelet. Oh well.

I was going to do that myself, but in frankly not hopeful that Best Buy has more stock than Apple lol. I just can't imagine THAT many more people ordered through Apple immediately at 12 am pst. But maybe...

Wife is manager st our local BB store so I'll probably just get the inside scoop on launch stock.
 
I ordered the 38mm stainless with the midnight blue modern buckle shipping 9/26-9/28. I waited over 2 months for my Series 1 with modern buckle so this is fine. I initially wanted the ceramic but it only comes with the sports band and the modern buckle is much more comfortable (in my opinion).

I would never order the iPhone through them based off of past horror stories. I'm an Elite Reward member and it shows guaranteed delivery on 9/16 plus I'll get $15 worth of reward certificate too. If they screw up then I'll just reorder through Apple.
 
Ordered the AW2 Space Gray with Nylon band from Target around 8:45am ET. Says delivery on/around 9/19-9/22.
This will be my first AW.
 
Well I ordered a 42mm SS with Link bracelet, a Saddle Brown leather strap and a Product Red Sports strap earlier today.

I had been holding out for Version 2, so decided to commit and jump in.

Have a Matt Black iPhone 7 Plus 128 gig en route too - early Christmas presents ! Thats my excuse.......

No worries haha. I am not in the know so much when it comes to AW stuff, I just saw people upset they couldnt get ceramic in black. Personally think the white looks nice but the price point is way beyond what I am willing to pay for something like this. Ultimately stainless is too lol.

You raise an interesting point though. Given how glossy the ceramic white seems, I wonder if black ceramic would've looked too similar to the black SS. That might be why they decided against it.
