I ordered the gold AWS with the cocoa sport band on 9/15, and received an original estimated delivery window of 10/14 to 10/27. No updates from Apple, but you guys are giving me hope.
I've wondered what effect ordering one colored band/case etc. might have on delivery times. Then I realized I was being silly and I should act like a grown up and be patient. Easier said than done.

What is funny about that is I tried to pick the most boring watch I could. But now it seems this band is either very popular or not overly produced. Oh well, patience is key.
I ordered that one also and still in "processing" status...Oct 12-24th estimated ship date.
I am so f***ing pissed right now.

UPS still says it will be arriving tomorrow but I sincerely doubt that. Apple has really sh*t the bed this year. I'm sick to death of dealing with these launches of new products when you can't even get them the day they launch.

Mine says the same. But a quick check of the weather shows clear skies and sun! Ugggh
. The watch has been sitting in Shanghai since yesterday early morning.
Pre-ordered 9/18, found one in Target today, cancelled pre-order. Everyone waiting on a 42 mm Aluminum series 2 with BSB just moved one up the queue
Here is a photo of what I got today and it had an estimated delivery date of Sept 30th.

Ditto on this. Mine was scheduled to deliver tomorrow but was delayed in China due to weather (??!!) Mine still doesn't show a new delivery date though and the 9/23 date was removed after the delay

There is no way Apple should have released this with such limited stock. It's just pissing everybody off and yet another botched release doesn't really help them in any way.
I'm in the same boat... Ordered the 42mm SG sport with black woven nylon band. And mine is Oct 19 - Nov 1. Soooooo long.
I just feel the Apple Watch 2 is not a great launch for Apple... No stock in stores.
Hopefully stores will start to get some and will be able to cancel my order, if i find one...
Hey guys....still didn't find out what happened to my UPS watch mis-delivery, but on a + note my iPhone 7 plus 256MB has shipped and will be here tomorrow!!
[doublepost=1474578778][/doublepost]UPDATE!!!!!::::UPS driver retrieved my product, but the teenage kid who signed for it threw the packaging away and gave him just the Watch and the box it came in after he let them know that UPS security would be coming to do an investigation..must have scared the crap out of him.....I didn't know the did that, but glad they do. Not sure if the watch box was opened.....driving down to the CS center in a few to pick it up.....what a fiasco.

100% agree. I miss the days when Ron Johnson ran retail. When He was in charge I could stay overnight at the Apple store and almost be guaranteed the product I want.
I ordered a sg 42mm with Sportband last week and i am as well in the 3 - 5 week window..BUT I just realized that there are different band sizes available. Honestly I can not remember choosing any during my order with the Apple Store app. Did I miss something or is the 42 mm being send with only one size???
Well I randomly checked the local Apple Store and a few in my area had the silver aluminum in stock. So I went and grabbed it. Canceled my order. I ordered on 9/15 so anyone after me just moved up one.

Guys, is this your first rodeo? The outrage here is baffling. Apple has an outstanding record of getting products to you before their original target date. My original date was 9/30, it's likely getting here tomorrow, 9/23. I'll take it. Apple makes things that are not easy to make, and as far as I've always heard they make them as quickly as they can and don't do shortages to create artificial demand.
I dunno. I don't want to be that guy, but you need a little perspective here. Mine sat in Japan for 24 hours for some reason, but oh well. In a few days it won't make a bit of difference.
