Hey guys....still didn't find out what happened to my UPS watch mis-delivery, but on a + note my iPhone 7 plus 256MB has shipped and will be here tomorrow!!

Not sure if the watch box was opened.....driving down to the CS center in a few to pick it up.....what a fiasco.

I agree with you John6Plus. The delivery will get here when it can. I can't wait for my new watch, and I'm incredibly excited. It's slated for delivery in the last week of October.

I treat it like delayed gratification. I don't have to be the first to have absolutely everything and my life is not going to be negatively impacted by the lack of not having it straight away.

Yeah when Apple packages go missing they send out their "security team" to investigate and will often involve the police in the case of stolen/misdelivered Apple products. And yes it was their fault, but I now have it and it is on my wrist and awesome!!

I'm in the same boat... Ordered the 42mm SG sport with black woven nylon band. And mine is Oct 19 - Nov 1. Soooooo long.
I just feel the Apple Watch 2 is not a great launch for Apple... No stock in stores.
Hopefully stores will start to get some and will be able to cancel my order, if i find one...

Well I randomly checked the local Apple Store and a few in my area had the silver aluminum in stock. So I went and grabbed it. Canceled my order. I ordered on 9/15 so anyone after me just moved up one.

I had ordered a 42mm silver aluminum with the pearl band.

Which area is that? East/west or midwest?

UPS still says it will be arriving tomorrow but I sincerely doubt that. Apple has really sh*t the bed this year. I'm sick to death of dealing with these launches of new products when you can't even get them the day they launch.

I think UPS does Saturday delivery. Or you can ask them to hold and pick it up yourself on Saturday.

I'm in the same boat as the others who are showing delay due to weather. UPS can't control customs holding something up and UPS can't control the weather. It's still frustrating. I just wish they could provide an updated shipping date.

Guys, is this your first rodeo? The outrage here is baffling. Apple has an outstanding record of getting products to you before their original target date. My original date was 9/30, it's likely getting here tomorrow, 9/23. I'll take it. Apple makes things that are not easy to make, and as far as I've always heard they make them as quickly as they can and don't do shortages to create artificial demand.

I dunno. I don't want to be that guy, but you need a little perspective here. Mine sat in Japan for 24 hours for some reason, but oh well. In a few days it won't make a bit of difference.

Nothing baffling to me that people are frustrated that Apple once again released a product without sufficient stock. They may beat their really long shipping times and while that is wonderful, with better planning and a more realistic release date they'd have a much happier customer base while selling the exact same number of watches.

Ordered mine at 3am on September 9th and it got pushed back to the 28th. On another thread, someone said a Best Buy rep told them that some more preorders are going to get another delay email until October with another credit. So for anyone that ordered later, it sounds like they'll actually get their watches later than what Best Buy currently has listed as the delivery date. Best Buy apparently doesn't want to update their delivery date until it becomes obvious they won't be able to fulfill them.

Is there a particular model that is delayed? With the first watch it was the Space Grays and Space Blacks that Apple seemed to have underestimated greatly - most everyone (or was it everyone?) that ordered those had to wait. (Raises hand.)

Oh and my SS WSB is on the truck for delivery! Ordered around 3:30AMET on 9/9, original arrival date was 9/30. Yay.

Going camping this weekend... maybe I won't wear the white band.

any reason you chose the nike? I am not really sure the difference other than the band and the wait time. does it have apps or watch faces exclusive to that watch like the hermes and stuff do? and congrats on a cool looking watch!

I am not a runner. I don't even pretend to be a runner. I don't even watch running on TV. I just liked the colors and I loved the band. (oh, I do wear nikes, lol)

seems like its the same ... theres a guy who said the delay is due to bands, but i don't think its the case.
bands are too easy to manufacture (perhaps 100 bands for each apple watch manufactured) theres almost no reason to believe that it is the cause of shipment slow downs
