I take that back! Just put in my full phone number on the UPS site as a reference track and it popped up. A label was just created .. the service is "Next Day Air Super Saver"...

Strange, this "tracking by reference" does not seem to work in The Netherlands. I tried all possible combinations and nothing pops up. Happy to hear that you just found yours! Your status still "preparing for shipment" on Apple website?
Yeah, still preparing for shipment via the Apple Store app.
I'm guessing their system is a little slower to update. They probably only auto-check UPS to see when it's actually shipped every few hours.

Yeah i think so too. Just a quick check: Did you select Shipment Type "Package" and only enter your phone number, or did you also enter other information? I'll give it one more go then

I tracked by reference... the site forces to put in package, reference (phone number), country, and zip code for me.
Looking at the full order, Apple has my phone number as a reference - as well as one other long number... probably their own tracking system

I ordered a SS space black 42 series 2 apple watch with space black link bracelet and it's still saying processing items... Delivery date is 16 sept. Not the first time Apple failed me with service. I'm pretty sure it will happen again.. I live in Belgium.
How's that possible? I think UPS reference trick won't work in Belgium. But note that my credit card isn't charged yet, so prolly i'm very unlucky and will get a mail with delay of my 16 sept order...
The Apple Store app still shows mine as "Preparing for Shipment"; but the UPS app gave me the tracking number and current status, departure scan from Anchorage just after midnight. With the tracking number, you can then get on the full UPS tracking site and see everywhere it has gone.
Apple still have mine preparing for shipment and it's getting ready to leave Shanghai, China.
My Choice UPS is showing 4 packages. I ordered a watch and phone. I was tracking two pkgs that are about 1lb now in KY thinking it was watch and phone, Now I think it's Apple Care??? 1 came from CA, the other from China (.5kg).
Now I have two more pkgs at 1.5kgs each getting picked up in China.
I know the extras are NOT accessories and it's delivered according to my address in My Choice, so it's not a ref number duplicate.

But the watch appeared in my Apple Support Profile and the shipment appears in my UPS My Choice account. (UPS notifies me of all packages sent to my address.) My phone number and the order number (less the last two digits) are also both listed as reference numbers, so I could have found it that way as well.

Did you get Apple Care? My theory is that the 1lb/.5kgs is Apple Care. I have 4 packages coming and 2 of them are that size, the other heavier. I ordered a watch and 7+. I won't know for sure until the status changes to Shipped. Both my 1 lb packages are now in KY, but the other two are just leaving China.
But I don't know why they'd ship Apple Care documents from China (1 of the 1lb came from China) or really, why they even ship it at all. I'd prefer a .pdf. But I do remember getting a separate package with Apple Care documentation before.

Apple Store still says preparing to ship, but on the UPS app I can already see an arrival scan in Kentucky! On track for Sep 16 delivery.
