yeah, best to check what your delivery notice states. FedEx doesn't want to be responsible for a loss even if apple doesn't require a signature.

Keep checking istocknow.com. I just went an picked up a 42mm SS with Celluar and Wifi. Just canceled my order from 10/12 with a delivery date of 10/30 - 11/4.
Seems NYC got a big shipment of 42MM SS watches today, started getting alerts around 11a. Ran over at lunch to pick up, now I can't wait to get home to set it up.
Keep the faith, seems like the supply chain is starting to open a bit. Surprised that Apple would not clear their online older orders first before shipping to the stores. That is just not right.

Looks like the 38mm SS is either in low demand or short supply. This Wed. will be 3 weeks since I ordered and no movement at all. None are showing locally in stock either so just my luck I guess. Oh well, the original ETA was for Oct 25-Nov.1 so it's not overdue anyway. But I was just hoping it would come in earlier than that. 
Ordered Space Grey 38mm Aluminum LTE from Verizon on September 25th and expected ship date still showing as October 25th. Luckily it hasn't been pushed back but I was really hoping the rumors about shipping times being faster were true. Impatiently waiting...

Yes. From Apple on 6 October. Originally gave me a delivery date of 31 October to 6 November so it's a little early but I'm not complaining.
So it looks like the saga may be coming to an end!

mine is delivered. also i found one for myself 42mm at the store. yay!
When it rains it pours! Can't wait for mine to be delivered.
so i placed an order for pickup at the nearest store, got charged, got the ready for pickup notification and then it cancelled and said refund initiated. Tried to order it again and still the same thing. Any idea whats going on?

Well finally got delivery! Set up was flawless thanks to the tip to unpair and remove my Series 0 from iCloud. Thanks for all your support and I hope everyone gets theirs very soon!

no the store still has it in stock. Apple says due to security we are cancelling your order which doesnt make any sense to me!
Apparently my watch shipped without a street address, just the city. How does that happen. Sent it to my office to avoid street issues at home. After chasing UPS had it reconfigured to my home which delayed things but it finally showed up today. The saga is now over and I am absolutely thrilled with the new watch. I'm off to set it up!
