"ok im going to try and make this brief LOL.

so, i've literally been back and forth with tmobile for a week because of my account and this watch. i found out on another forum that certain styles were shipping this month, so i called them yesterday to cancel my previous one and to change it to a different color (one that ships 10/19). well after 3 reps yesterday someone finally 1.found my order, 2. completed my order and was told it would ship between 10/19-10/23. 24+ hours go by and my account via the app only shows that my order was cancelled (the old one) so i call them up to see whats going on. first rep could even find my order(s) second rep found them, but transfered me to the WTS department bc i kept getting this error with my eSig. 3rd rep told me to wait an hour and then sign the esig bc there are technical difficulties on tmobiles end. ok coo, i waited an hour and 30mins lol. i click the link and BOOM 'you have nothing in your cart' so by now i am livid and i call them back and i tell them to cancel it bc i dont want to be on that heavy backorder list and i dont get a device until Dec. i'd rather try my luck and get one at a store. well the rep i got wasnt letting that happen and she worked some magic, resent the esig document, it loaded properly and i was able to sign it. my card got charged instantly, and i got the confirmation text. i am due to have my device shipped by today. so with that being said, i noticed that when i signed the first 6 (yes...6) esigs that another window pops up with your confirmation. i NEVER got those the first 6 times...not even on the original day i ordered on 9/27. if any of you are having issues with your device and you didnt get that last screen, i would suggest you 're-sign' your document or, call them and have them resend it to you. i hope this helps someone. like i said, my new device will be shipped today and my account finally reflects that online and via the app

Ordered Space Grey 38mm Aluminum LTE from Verizon on September 25th and expected ship date still showing as October 25th. Luckily it hasn't been pushed back but I was really hoping the rumors about shipping times being faster were true. Impatiently waiting...

Scheduled for delivery tomorrow with UPS!

I'm glad that finally worked out for you. My 2nd T- Mobileorder (I already received my 1st order) is a gift for someone else - maybe a Christmas gift. So I'm not in a huge hurry. I only ordered it about 10 days ago and T-Mobile still shows the 11/8 - 11/22 time period. I'm still hoping it comes early.

My wife told me last night that she had just decided to run a marathon next spring. So I decided to tell her that I ordered her an Apple Watch from T-Mobile about 10 days ago as a surprise. She was excited about the Apple Watch but wanted gold, not space gray, and she wanted a different band than the one I picked for her.

So I called up T-Mobile last night. They let me cancel my first order and place a new order for the 38mm aluminum gold model, pink sand sport loop. They told me it wasn't shipping until Nov 8-22.

HOWEVER, my card was charged this morning for the sales tax and the new shipping date says 10/20-10/22. Those of you with T-Mobile orders, check your order status and see if your shipping date has moved up like mine.

Well, if you check istocknow, that watch configuration is pretty much everywhere in NA. You should be able to walk into most Apple stores and pick one up.

Update: So the supervisor called me and told me that there has been a dispute from my behalf an
Nice!!! Wish Apple would bring the IUP to Canada - we have nothing like that up here. :(

IUP is only limited to iPhone, he is talking about the carrier financing!

Yep, I know. Our carriers up here won't do any deals unless you're foolish enough to give up your grandfathered plan for a crappy, low cap 2 year deal. Yes, let's pay much more for much less. :)

Having IUP in Canada would take the sting out of a new iPhone for a lot of people. (eg. the 64GB iPhone X with Apple Care and taxes is almost $1800 up here).

I'm not that happy with the Apple Watch preorder. I ordered a Nike+ 42mm with Crimson sport loop at 12:10 AM on September 15th and Apple finally shipped it this past Wednesday, but it won't be here until next Tuesday. They seriously had to send it slow economy shipping? That is so cheap of them. I get other overseas shipments overnight all the time. I just looked on the Apple store website and my local stores have stock, so I ordered one for pickup tomorrow. I probably could have got one today.

That's really surprising. Usually Apple ships items 2nd day. Sorry to hear about that. I had pre-ordered a S3 from T-Mobile, which wasn't going to ship until November. I went to one of my local Apple Stores on Monday and picked up a S3 LTE Space Grey with Grey band. So much for not being available until November...

Been four days since I got my 38mm Nike+ LTE watch and I'm really liking it! I didn't really enjoy the first watchOS (which made me skip other Apple Watches til now), so I'm glad OS4 makes things pretty snappy! Having LTE (while not an immediate benefit) is nice for music and using the watch should my phone die or something!

Hate to be the one to tell you, but if your phone isn't active the LTE functions on the watch are disabled. It doesn't need to be nearby, but it needs to be powered on and connected to your carrier.

So you're saying a dead phone means a dead watch (as far as LTE connectivity goes)? That's... odd... I mean, doesn't it have its own line?

This was in some ways done to appease the carriers (I think they were afraid of people sharing cell plans) - but also to ensure Android users don't use a friend's iPhone to activate an Apple Watch, then pop the SIM back into their Android phone.

Is it different with different carriers? My carrier is Verizon. I have an AW series 3 cellular and I can leave my phone at home powered off and can still make and receive calls. During setup, the Verizon tech guy requested that I test the new connection by powering the phone off for a few hours. Then he called me back on a different line to confirm that the watch was functional when the phone was powered off.

Well, that is certainly interesting. It's not supposed to work that way (would certainly be nice if it did for everyone).

I have Verizon as well and so far I’ve made calls, used Siri, calendar and maps with the phone off. I haven’t tried texting but all the third party apps wouldn’t work. I might even get Apple Music if streaming is enabled with 4.1.

seems like support article supports what lucydrew said
You know what, you're right! :) We were discussing that in another thread, that if your phone is off, that it basically turns your AW3 into an AW2 in terms of functionality, but it's actually only that you won't be able to receive SMS/MMS messages (as the iPhone isn't on to forward them to the iMessage/Continuity servers).

@lucydrew , @exodiusprime My mistake. The only piece that won't work is receiving texts (though iMessages will work).

Finally broke down and ordered the 42 SSSB to replace my S0 watch. Same as you, said 2-3 weeks. When I ordered my S0 SSSB the delay was many months. That wasn’t fun.

I also just decided on the stainless steel space black. I like the look of the regular stainless, but the added protection with the DLC on the stainless steel space black is really nice to have and pairing bands isn't as difficult as I thought it was originally.

Ordered AW3 LTE SG 42mm Alum on 10/1. Confirmation Said 10/30-11/6 delivery. Heard nothing until 10/20. Got a shipping email that says del 10/27.
