I know it’s not practical for app design and overall UI, and I love my current Apple Watch, but please have a round option for gen 4! This product is 1/2 gadget, 1/2 jewelry, and although I’m well aware that there are many examples of designer watches that are square, most are round. I’d love to be able to switch between my square model and round model. I’m thinking rounded stainless steel similar to a Shinola, just smart :)

Damn you lol

Haha all I use it is for telling the time, gym/running, notifications, and getting the weather information at a quick glance. It's especially helpful when I'm traveling for work and it just syncs the time with my phone so I don't have to manually change the time like on conventional watches.

Wow I may finally want to buy an Apple Watch now. Just hoping they make a round one too.

Give me a round option and I will buy.

I would say there is almost no chance Apple will release a round version in the fall. Even Jony Ive commented that a round version did not make sense to him, being that he is one of the designers behind the Apple Watch. I think a round version would be appreciated, but I don’t believe will Apple venture onto that path At this time.

I've been wanting to want an AW so bad.. but it's just not happening for me. I really wish Apple could surprise us (me) with a Watch that nobody ever expected possible to create.. Kind of how it felt when the iPhone was introduced. The way the iOS worked was unreal.. It looked fake, and yet it was real. I miss that...

I think Apple has painted themselves into a corner with the Apple Watch. Don't get me wrong, I love mine, but it took water resistance, speed and significant battery improvement to move me off my series 0 to a series 3.

Maybe some series 1 owners will move off for a slightly faster, and better battery-life model, but I have a hard time thinking of what would make me upgrade.

If their strategy is incremental updates, they are going to run out of people on older versions.

I can tell you the one thing that would make me buy a new Apple Watch: Extensible Watch Bands.

If Apple allowed 3rd parties to pass data through the band, it would be a game changer. Then you could have real health functions.

Non-invasive glucose monitoring will come, but Apple doesn't want to deal with the FDA, plus, you need the underside of a wrist to do it. Just think about what accessories could be made if Apple opened up a port.

Yeah, I know it won't happen, but short of that I can't see selling my series 3.

I think the Apple Watch is the one Apple product that could stand to be a little thinner, provided there's no impact to battery life.

It sounds cool, but I’ve barely put any wear and tear on my Series 2 and 3 yet. I guess I’ll pass. :(

I'm pretty happy with the size of the watch. I have the 42mm. If anything, it could be slightly more thin. I, personally do not see the need for a larger screen and I have big hands/long arms. But if they decided to add a circular design maybe they could squeeze more screen into that.

I'll love a redesign. I'll believe it when I see it. Hopefully it's round not just a thinner version of the current form. I have a series 3. No more upgrades for me until there is a round one. I was actually pretty OK with my series 1 and only upgraded to series 3 because Siri got a voice. So I could be happy with it for 3,4,5 years easy. I don't use apps other than Delta at all.

It will keep the square face. Just thinner. I'd also love a 46mm option.
