Uh Oh, you're scaring me now. I ordered my 44mm space black titanium with braided charcoal loop and I've had 2 updates on my green line status which now shows preparing to ship. I'll keep posting as status changes. Please let apple send me that "your order is shipped" email.

When did you order? I placed my first order (before I changed my mind) a couple of hours in.

It's also quite possible they give band priority to more costly watches. (like your Titanium).

I've had iPhone since the "2" ("3G") and Watch since Series 1. (1, 4, 6). Have always ordered online. If Apple says "shipped" they mean "shipped". You can trust their order status.

Congrats!

You kids that are new here -- you're gonna love the 'excitement' that comes with revisiting the this thread and its gone from 22 pages to 47 pages all filled with 'SHIPPED!' and screenshots

it's the most wonderful tiiiiiiiime of the year!

Honestly, I remember when they would release new iBooks, PowerMacs and PowerBooks. The forums were an uproar of excitement. I’m new to ordering day one so I’m super excited.

@bbctooman

My order was placed almost 24 hours ago. No movement.
Did they charge your CC yet? Might be a clue. I received an email from that my purchase from apple was on my titanium card 2 hours after placing the order. As a retired manufacturing supervisor, I can only guess at what the supply chain looks like for a project like this LOL.

What, what? Fedex? I thought Apple used UPS only. I got a fedex notification that 'a' package is on its way for Friday delivery (doesn't tell me what), my order is listed as a sept 25 date but has changed to PFS, and I don't know what else fedex could be shipping, but I am going crazy checking for an email from apple saying shipped, or here for anyone reporting same.
I have ordered from apple and they used fedex before. Also last time I used apple care to fix my mbp shipping was through fedex.

How can we track by reference with Fedex? I remember how with UPS, but thats always how I have gotten my launch day iPhone's before

We have similar buying pattern, my 1st iphone was 2, then 6S, then 10 and hopefully 12 in a couple weeks. My watches were also 1, 4, and now 6. Did the stand in line thing early models like a crazy person, but online is the only way to go now.

Does it mean anything if Best Buy charged me?

Yep. It means they have your money.

Snickers, sorry, could not resist. I like Best Buy, don't get me wrong, but it might reading tea leaves to draw conjecture from that. I seem to recall getting charged and not getting my item for a week once before. On the other, hand also got charged and got it the next day.

Ordered yesterday immediately when the German Store was online. I am from The Netherlands and have the Watch delivered to my uncle in Germany. Should be delivered on Friday to him. It just went PFS :D

Log into your account on FedEx and look for menu item Advanced Shipment Tracking under the tracking tab. It will list all inbound shipments to you. That is how I found my info - label created, expected ship date Thursday for Friday delivery.

Well, almost. I'm a developer, and have been writing apps (mostly non App-Store Enterprise apps distributed in corporate Enterprise Stores always both iOS/Android) most of that time. So, at least early one I got every iPhone model, and kept them as test devices. It's a good gut-check to test apps on older devices to make sure you aren't fooling yourself on performance because you have the latest and greatest in your pocket.

But at 6 I started doing ATT "new every year" and turning them in. But since I didn't upgrade last year, now I'm going to keep the XSMax as a tester since it's paid-off (or will be next month). It will have a long life for that purpose.

I currently have a 4, 4S, and 5S. Only the 5S is of any value today as a tester. I loaned my 3G to a friend who lost their phone, and then they lost the 3G. No biggie. Oh, and an iPad 1, 2 with "new" connector, and my daily driver Air2 (which is getting long in the tooth and needs a battery). And a bunch of Samsung phones and tablets.

As far as the watch, excited that it appears now developers can supply a complete watch face as part of a Watch app. I actually have something in the works for iPhone - a very special kind of clock - and now I'm excited about being able to supply a face for Watch as well! Good timing!

Thanks, but I am having it delivered to my work and I can't add a business address to the delivery manager.

Alright September iPhone Girls and Boys -- If I remember right Apple Store order updates would come around mid-day~ish (flips from PTS to Shipped), am I right?

Last year I got my phone at the store instead of order/delivery so I'm rusty but gettin' that good feelin' again where I just have to check the order status every 30 seconds

Thanks for this info. Weird thing is I have two shipments from Apple coming from Lebanon, TN showing up but I only ordered one watch. Nothing else.

It's always nice to know someone who knows stuff! I am a humble retired manufacturing guy who hand-built the first computer (Heathkit) for my small family-owned corp in the mid 80's. Managed all our early networking on windows machines which were more easily networked early on. Became an apple guy in the mid 90's and haven't looked back. I currently have 12 personal devices being tracked between my wife and me. I highly respect your background for expertise in making the hardware perform! Thanks for the info.
