Io sono al terzo. L'ultimo cambiato colore. Purtroppo carica rapida inesistente. Deluso deluso deluso.

I’m also having the same issues on a S7 Stainless Steel. I tried using an original Apple 20W adapter (with the fast charging Apple puck), and also an Anker Nano adapter, but it just doesn’t seem to function properly. Even with 8.3 nothing changed.

I'll have occasional charging stoppages when I use a portable battery or the Apple 5w charger. Using a dual phone/watch stand has yielded the most consistent charge but my watch does get warmer than I have felt in the past while using the stand(connected to Apple 96w charger block).

Charging problems are more often with watchOS 8.3. It has become ridiculous, it charges around 2% in 10 minutes. What is this? The new ultra slow charging exclusively for Watch Series 7 or what.

This is everything but not the advertised fast charging.

I'm going to return the Apple Watch. It was supposed to be a cool gadget to make my life a bit easier but for now it just makes everything a bit more complicated.

I have a 3rd party wireless phone/watch charging stand, which comes with its own induction coils for the watch so no need to use the Apple puck. My old S2 42mm charged absolutely fine on it but my new S7 41mm doesn't and periodically stops charging. I noticed the round "sensor hump" on the S7 41mm feels a little smaller than the S2 42mm. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

The Upside Down
My Series 7 on watchOS 8.3 has outright stopped charging (so much for "fast charging") and it's driving me nuts. I'm guessing it's a software issue since a lot of other people are having similar charging issues and I'm really, really hoping they push out an update to fix the issue before Christmas. Otherwise a lot of people unwrapping a brand new Series 7 would be in for a nasty surprise when they can't charge their watch.

To some it might be software issue, but I have both the Apple MagSafe duo charger and a Belkin pro 3 in 1 wireless charger and they charge my watch just fine. WatchOS 8.3

Ever since 8.2? or whenever it was - my wife and I stopped having charging problems - 3rd party or Apple Watch charger on normal or 20w charging bricks. Definitely seeing an uptick of people having problems tho (reddit/here).

My 7 Ti charges at the speed of light. It was fast even before upgrading to 8.3.

If this is a software issue, wouldn't we all be experiencing this? Could there be charger (puck) variances contributing? I'm sorry for those dealing with this, how frustrating ...

After my first failure to charge, it never happened again. Changed to USB-C fast chargers since then and installed all updates.

Apple Series Watch 3 stopped completely charging 2 days ago. I thought my watch simply died, but reading this thread this morning makes me think it can't be a coincidence as I updated to 8.3 recently. I don't see any other Series 3 owners complaining, but perhaps there aren't so many of us left. Difference is I'm using the official Apple USB-C (non fast charging) puck I bought years ago. My watch is now 100% dead with no charge and I have no clue on how to get it back up and running. As it's out of warranty I suspect my Series 3 is officially dead.

Consistent problems with Watch 7 since buying it at launch. No updates help—I have to restart it before each charge or half the time it barely charges at all. So frustrating!

I’ve had my S7 on my old (either S0 or S3) charger since day 1, not a single issue. I charge overnight, wearing my S4 for sleep tracking.
For my use case, no need for fast charging

My Apple Watch 7 has been a nightmare charging with these updates.

My non Apple charger charges the watch then stops when it’s charged and night mode gets shut off also on the watch.

So I used a series one charger I have used for the S1 and S5 watches before this S7 and it worked for a night, but last night it kept dinging like I was putting it on the charger every 10 minutes. Had to remove the watch from the charger, it was fully charged.

Guess it’s time for a call to Apple or wait for updates or both.

how are you all charging yours? I haven't had a single issue but I am using the supplied cable attached to an usb-c outlet. Not sure if that matters.

After no problems since 8.1? or 8.2 - all of a sudden, my watch refuses to charge past 69%. And it's burning hot. Been like this for 20 mins now. So I rebooted the watch and it's been stuck at 70% for awhile and still burning hot.

How interesting.

S7 LTE. S6 puck. Anker 100W charger.

Been working fine up till today.

I should probably note that as of 8.0/8.1 - the watch would sit (cool) at a % till I took it off the charger, and put it right back on (no restart need) - then it would start charging again.

8.2? I think fixed that. Or 8.1 I can't remember. It only happened a few times.

Been working flawlessly till today when it was burning hot and wouldn't go past 69-70%. I took it off the charger after 30 mins of going nowhere. It's been stuck on 70% for awhile - so I wonder if the % is just not accurate? Who knows.

so using the puck that came with your 7?

interesting, seems mostly with 3rd party chargers as someone earlier said, but not limited to it ...

After 30 mins off (no change to the 70%) - I put the watch back on the puck and it's charging normally :D. It's screamed to 80% in <10 mins.
