Titanium silver model looks like it doesn't match the titanium silver link bracelet

This!

I noticed that if you choose a Series 6 band, it will not give you the option for delivery, and now no option to add to bag either. You can still order a Series 7 watch with a Series 7 (new) band, just delayed now. Also, you can order a Series 6 band for delivery, which makes all of this weird.

I ended up ordering a titanium S7 w/ a golden brown leather band and then a saddle brown leather band as well, hoping the Apple Store will resolve this after I get everything.
Ah that explains the trouble I was having.

Interesting, got on half past opening and found some available watches in aluminum (starlight closest to my old aluminu and band). Available then on 15th. It wanted to use the card my phone is on, but in time I did order got new card and the card number was different in time changing that and wanting to put on my bank account debit visa and with that for some reason my check card (a visa) was not there I guess it got forgotten in the transfer from old 12 ProMax to my new 13 ProMax or such. I had to choose to re-add it and in that time (probably several minutes figuring out my check card needing re-adding on phone via choosing previous cards in wallet) it slipped to 26-28th for my choice. No big deal and to be honest I hope it does not slip earlier as I busy the week before. Almost just waited to find one around here one day in next couple months probably should have stayed with that idea LOL

Did anyone see Titanium before November,
? Were they never available on launch day or just sold out in seconds?
My titanium said Oct 25 when I first added to my cart, but then slipped to Nov 2 by the time I ordered. So they may have had like 2 available for Oct.

No stainless with sport band on the site and then I have to download and print their stupid thing for the cheapest band (I have plenty of nice bands already) and I’m deep in November before 8:05 AM. Was able to order a sport band stainless at Best Buy and it’s apparently coming October 25th. We’ll see…not a great experience.

Frustratingly still no. Apple talks about reducing wastes, but how about selling watches without requiring people to purchase bands. That would cut down on packaging, improve availability, reduce costs for those of use who already have plenty of bands!

Interesting thought, but imagine the margin they’d be giving up not charging $50-extra for a cloth band over the sport band version you can’t buy on the site. I cannot imagine the markup on most of these bands.

Even worse, (I think) you have to pick a band with the Ti models, and they give you a regular/black sport band in the box. For example, I picked a Dark Cherry sport band for my Ti model, and I think another black one will come in the box. Can anyone confirm? Seems wasteful, as I don't need another black band.

Got in at 7:01 (Central) via the Apple app, Midnight aluminum case w/ sport band, Oct 15th delivery.

The process of picking/choose cases/bands was kind of confusing and would have been nice to configure it prior to pre-order time.

It's about time they gave the option to buy just the watch body, considering all bands going back 7 generations are interchangeable it's ridiculous that they don't. Surely this would be easier for Apple in that they don't have to keep loads of randoms bands and body styles together and a bit cheaper for the buyer as they don't have to buy unnecessary bands that may just be stuck in a drawer and never used as they may already have a few.

That's what happened with my Ti. They're darned if they do, darned it they don't. I'm sure that's why they don't sell them without a band yet, imagine someone clicking the wrong watch and trying to drum up outrage against Apple for not receiving a band through their own negligence.

I rushed my order and went with the solo loop only to realize I went too large on the size and they are not adjustable. So I had to cancel my order and start over again. I went with the sport loop band since it fits any wrist size. I was still able to get a Friday date but I had to change from delivery to in store pickup. I had no idea there would be so many choices of band styles and colors to choose from. It definitely would have been nice to have a few days prior to preorder to look through all of the options.

In the end I ended up with a green aluminum 45mm GPS/Cellular watch with the blue/moss green sport loop. It looks like a nice color combination on the website. I guess I’ll know for sure next Friday if it was the right choice.

Order placed through the my verizon app. 45mm green. Ships before october 15th. Also placed my order at literally 8:01am haha

Anyone else unable to add the watch to their cart? It doesn't work on Apples site or on their app. "Delivery Unavailable" is the culprit by the looks of it.

I knew what I wanted .. Immediately when the site opened I placed my order .. What came up was "Currently unavailable". Oh well .. Maybe next year.

yep, same problem...might be a sign, I was on the fence if it was a worthy upgrade from my 4 anyway

I wanted that new loop band but didn’t know my size. Wasn’t going to waste valuable time with the chart, so went with a sport band. Good thing I did, it’s $50 cheaper!!

Here's a fun one: Ordered Silver Stainless w/ Black Solo Loop. "Delivers Oct 15" when I ordered on the site. "Delivers Oct 15" in the email confirmation. Just checked the Apple order status site and now all it says is "Jan". 😅

Thanks to a poster above. You have to choose a series 7 band for the bag to become clickable. I was having the same issue and gave up until just now. I got a delivery on the 1st - 11th. No problems.

See my post above for probably the reason why.

As for this whole Apple Watch S7 release. Apple has gone stupid. Why the hell weren't we at least allowed to see the choices of what watch and band we wanted? And why did they not bother to tell us that you needed to choose a S7 band to get delivery. Crazy. Yet here we are, giving them our money... Why? Because the product actually looks pretty impressive. 20% bigger screen, same battery life. I'll take that. Blood sugar would have been nice, but apart from that and longer battery, I can't see any issue with this watch. I mean 20% BIGGER!!! It's a huge jump.

Thanks! That worked for me. Bummer the band I want is out of stock, it was the navy with orange highlights and would have looked sweet on the blue case.

The trade-in values are always best for base model, you lose out on the higher end models and extras. Works that way with all their devices. For instance, I got $210 for my base model S6.

It will always be that way until Apple gives Edition watches some added values. More storage, brighter display, faster chip, or exclusive high end sensors for Steel and Ti case.

Until then, the aluminum Apple Watch will always be the way to go. Same internals for half the price.
