Good to know. This will be my first Apple Watch. My 6 has to be charged every 38 hours or so.

I read online a lot of the senior engineers have jumped ship.It sounds like Apple's phone and watch processors didn't improve at all this year. Maybe the silicone team is spending all its time on the M1X, maybe it's just covid-related slowdowns, or maybe they're starting to hit a wall.
That will be the new feature on iPhone 14 😂If you don’t have a USB C charger, which those iPhone and Apple Watch only owners may not, then it’s an added expense now. Maybe cheap or expensive but you still not need to buy a USB C charger and have two chargers and cables. They really should have made the iPhone USB C also.
The thing is people on this website are by definition enthusiasts. A lot of people here will buy the new device every single year.Tough crowd.
Why is this bad advice? Because you don't agree with it? And the details were in the article itself, as well as my correction of the headline. While I am not planning to get one, everyone has their own reasons and you should not generalize this type of (bad) advise without any details
Why do you assume I don’t have WiFi 6 at home?Does it matter if you don't have WiFi 6 in your home?
Except YOU are not citing ANY reasons. Why is this bad advice? Because you don't agree with it? And the details were in the article itself, as well as my correction of the headline.
Everyone has their own reasons, mate.
Typical reaction at MR, been like this for a long time…The thing is people on this website are by definition enthusiasts. A lot of people here will buy the new device every single year.
These incremental updates look like a flop or disappointment to people who have the last model. In reality though, the vast majority of people don’t upgrade every year so if you keep your device for a few years all these updates add up and all of a sudden going from a Series 4 to a 7 does look enticing.
I’ve never had an Apple watch and I have to say this year looks appealing to me. People like me are the customer Apple is really after with the Watch at this point still.
Always on display in S5 was maybe the best thing they’ve ever added (ok, maybe GPS in gen 2).Kinda surprised at the comments in here. Yes, the screen is the only difference, but for many people the screen is the watch's main feature. What have they added in the past few years that was more worthy of an upgrade?
It’s just the typical reaction from the MR crowd…Fellas, Apple never has and never will give you EVERYTHING you want on the outset.
This new Watch has a bigger screen, which in my mind is THE single best upgrade it could've gotten, all while keeping last year's performance the same.
It's like getting a bigger car, one that carries more passengers (and the paint scratches less), that fills up fuel quicker, and yet consumes the same amount of fuel.
How is that not an engineering achievement?
Tough crowd.
I believe that charging is not linear. It charges slower when the battery is closer to 100%.I’m confused on charging. If 8 minutes gives 8 hours of charge, then 24 mins should get through a day (3x8=24 hours)— but 45 mins only gives 80%, according to Apple. So is this assuming 0% battery, which never happens? Or something else?
