I would considered upgrading if they were flat and squared off. Since apparently they aren't (except maybe the pro model), I'll roll with my 6. Also not thrilled they got rid of the blue.

Im still on my Series 2...im happy with it but just sucks it hasn't been able to be updated for its OS in a long time :/

I guess this is the main reason that might 'push' me to finally upgrade this.
Question is which to go for?? Ill def wait to see what the Pro model will look like/offer.

my watch 7 is enough for me. I won't buy an apple watch again until apple comes up with something decent! every year a new one with as good as we shouldn't buy anything innovative is ecologically really top from apple!

I roll my eyes whenever I hear about "all day battery life". That's not even in the same ballpark for what I want. I'm after over a week (at least) of battery life assuming I can turn off just everything except the time display and have all other features just be on-demand. I'm not particularly into any of the health and fitness stuff. I understand some people want all features available at all times and they can deal with the battery life that comes with that. But if I'm off the grid for an extended period I'd like to be able to effectively go into hermit mode (which is even more restrictive than airplane mode) and just have the watch tell me time time and last an order of magnitude longer.

Here's a theory on why the regular AW8 won't come in Space Grey.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the AW Pro come in Space Grey Titanium.

Making it the only and expensive way to get one in that colour.

For the non-“pro” - we seem to be getting a body temp sensor, that’s it. Done might find that worth upgrading for, me personally not.

And the “pro” - I’d for one want to see the actual design and features first before I will consider, but rather unlikely…

it may not be exactly what you want, but have you tried just setting the watch to low power mode? turns off all features except for showing the time when you press the side button (or digital crown).

That’s a really bad joke. I can only think Apple was trolling us with that feature. It wouldn’t take more power to make the time display look good, but they didn’t don’t even bother.

Definitely not an upgrade for me. Body temperature isn’t something I’m really eager to know (though maybe they can do something cool with it..we’ll see what the software has in store).

It may not look pretty, but gets the job done. Obviously not for everyone.
