The flat design is awful and has always been awful. Please, no.

As for additional health sensors - sure, if they work right. The blood ox on my series 6 is so all over the place as to be useless.
I agree. While Series 7 look a bit dated, replacing it with that flat edge design is a regression.

I would prefer all that energy spent on making nicer watch faces instead. Contour is the first truly different watch face I've seen in awhile. Hermes and Nike exclusive faces notwithstanding, most of the watch faces are variations of 3-4 watch faces.

I would have not expected the ability to obtain an EKG reading from an affordable watch, and now I'm wearing one. With O2 reading, pulse rate, and all of the other features both health and non-health related.

As incredible as it seems, I fully expect that we will have glucose monitoring and blood pressure monitoring soon, if not next year then not that far into the future.

These are really spectacular achievements, and I'll be the first to order an Apple Watch with these features.
As much as it would be truly amazing. There won’t be blood glucose any time soon. Been working in the laboratory industry for over 20 years.

I don't really feel like the rumors this year make it more likely next year will get a redesign; it's not like Apple had another design ready to go and cut it, this stuff is planned far out and it doesn't seem to make sense to me anyone with a reputable line on info would be so off-base.
I fully believe the flat design idea was specifically put out there to find who was leaking designs.

All this article is doing is unnecessarily increasing the entropy of the universe...

The cellular Apple Watch Series 8 needs a camera.

A WiFi Apple Watch requires a Cell Phone in your pocket anyway to make phone calls, so there is no point in having two cameras.

The cellular option for Apple Watch Series 8 with Camera should be $799.

The WiFi option without a camera is $399.

If you’re arguing that the WiFi option should have a camera, why would you walk around NYC without a cell phone? If you have a cell phone, you have a camera. And a much better camera than what the Apple Watch can offer.

Predicting an Apple products that cycles every year...a year in advance is nonsense. I went from a 3 (my first Apple Watch) to a 6. When the 9 rolls out I will seriously consider it.
I have a 3 and honestly have maybe worn it less than 30 times... at least I got it refurb'd. One of the worst apple buys I've done.

I skipped the article just to come here and say I’m skipping these articles from here on out(not that anyone here cares). I don’t want to know anything about Watch or iPhone until launch next year. Will read everything else.

Talk order, I know. I’ll see headlines and images around the web but no real details.

I guess it’s kinda like that Last Christmas challenge except iPhone/Watch leaks instead.
