I didn't even think the edition was available to ship at launch.....

In any event, haven't seen any in the wild. However some Asian girl was eying my wrist when I was out earlier.

Yeah.. AFAIK we don't have the Edition unboxing video yet (from consumer at least).

I've yet to see another in the wild. Everyone seems to be noticing mine (white sport band is like a beacon). I intentionally put on a long sleeve shirt last night when I went out to dinner with my family to avoid the attention.

You crazy? I intentionally wore a t shirt and kept pretending to scratch my head so I could raise it and accidentally on purpose show the Micky Mouse screen to everyone hoping for a reaction..... no one did notice the watch but I think they all thought I had lice #

Since I am so eagerly awaiting the arrival of my own watch, I've taken up the habit of staring at everyone's wrists as I walk by them, in the gym and wherever. I haven't seen a single apple watch yet... I suppose that is not too unexpected, but I was curious: have you guys spotted any of these in the wild?

I have only seen one other in Vancouver, Canada besides the one I own :D

I am still surprised about just how HEAVY the box was. Was considering using it on my vacation but do not want to add a pound to my carryon.

And YES. Loved the packaging.

I think it will take a good eye to spot any SS with Classic Buckle. It looks great but does not demand attention. I love how tasteful it is.

However, I am CERTAIN I will spot any of the sport band colors if I see them.

That's what I got. I'm glad I went with the classic buckle

None here in Panama City, Florida. I'll probably have one of the first. Don't expect to see any around for a while either. Got the Space Gray Sport.

Saw my first Watch sightings in the wild today, one was on TV. Saw that Charlie Rose was wearing one this morning on CBS Early Morning... then I went to drop my niece off at her day care and one of the day care workers had a 42mm Space Grey Sport. She was a young lady probably 30-32yo... I said nice watch then showed her that I had the same one.

None in NYC, but I haven't been keeping any eye out for it

White band on a watch is going to stick out pretty bad regardless of the watch

I have not seen any others. A few people did indicate that they were expecting one in June. Most that you see with one now ordered at midnight (adjust for TZ) or ordered a non black band 38mm.

I have also been watching people's wrists. I have yet to see anyone with one. Guess I'm unique in city of philadelphia.

I haven't seen any (except my own), and so far I don't think anyone has noticed it.

I went to the movies last weekend and didn't notice the watch face lighting up at all, so it wasn't an issue for me.

Did they confirm how many were released to the public since 4/24?

I haven't seen anybody on the trains or buses that I commute on to/from the NYC and NJ.

I haven't seen any in the wild and from the impression I get from folks that see/ask about mine, it's the first one they've seen too.

I was in the Apple Store twice yesterday at a local mall and both times I walked out, people were staring at my wrist. This was people walking by the store. It felt weird as I don't like to draw attention. The good thing is, no one else has said anything since then.

Yeah I hope people don't notice when I get one. I've never had a $700 watch before and really don't want to draw attention to that fact because I don't want to get robbed.

I haven't seen an Apple Watch, but I have been more attentive...and noticed many other smart watches.

I've been looking for it as well and haven't seen any. Thought I was the only one watching for watches.

I had an event to photograph today at a local area mall, and twice someone noticed my watch and commented on it. Once by a local sheriff who asked "did that really cost $10,000?" about my sport model. I had to laugh a little bit.

It's comments like that which worry me. Some thug sees my Apple Watch and decides to rob me or just kill me because he thinks it's worth $10-17,000. Although $699 is still nothing to sneeze at as I mentioned above.

I haven't seen any in Tokyo, which I find a little surprising considering how many iPhones and iPads I see on my daily commute. No one has noticed my SS Milanese, either, aside from one couple who I was standing in front of on the train one day last week. There's no ApplePay here, so the chances to use the watch in an obvious way are limited.

I've only seen one other in the VA Beach area since I got mine launch day. Saturday I saw a guy at Lowe's with a SS Watch. I saw his, he saw mine, we nodded to each other and moved on.

Many people have commented on mine and asked a lot of questions, both coworkers and random people out and about.

I've seen one person other than my own of course. Spotted at Disneyland last Tuesday, 42mm SG Sport.

I have not seen any others here in Reno, NV. SS w/ WSB here.

Then again, our mail is still delivered via Pony Express.

So, you know, shipping delays after a snowy winter and all that.

I was at a Chinese restaurant a couple days ago and a guy a few tables over held his phone to his face and began talking and oddly, his flash began going off. I wasn't aware that any phones did this and I couldn't help but think, "Is this mufuggah takin' a picture of me? Is it because I've got an Apple Watch on?"

I got this. Was kinda weird, I could hear people muttering about it as well.

Did see a few employees wearing them though.

Outside of co-workers, only 1 person has recognized my watch as being the apple watch, and that is only b.c she sells watches. Oddly enough, I had more people ask if my pebble was the apple watch than if the apple watch is in fact the apple watch. I really think it has to do with the way it looks. The 38mm SS is small enough that it looks like a normal watch.

I just saw one on someone's wrist hanging out the window in traffic today!

Whoop!
