Apple Watch is such a generic plain style they blend in. A look that I like. I'd rather not have people noticing. However that said it's a rip off that Apple employs a world class designer that shirked his responsibilities. Oh sure Apple brags what a great design it is but the Timex Co could have done that and they wouldn't get any credit.
 
I was in my local Apple Store getting Apple Care, and I saw it on another customer. It was SS with Black Sport Band.

Since starting this thread, I have seen one in the wild, but on an Apple Store employee, so not sure if that really counts.

I got mine the other day, and a lot of people have noticed so far ... one guy interrupted a phone call he was on to ask if it was the Apple watch, and then when I confirmed, he launched into a story about his disbelief that Apple is selling some watches for $10K. It was a little odd. On the whole the attention is either neutral or positive though.
 
Have not seen any yet. People have told me mine is the first one they've seen. The Apple Store in the mall said they've seen a small handful.
 
Was leaving my condo complex and saw a dude running with a white band 38mm sport similar to the one that's always on my wrist.

I saw one at the Chicago Pen Show last weekend. At least I think it was one... Looked like a SS black strap on a woman. I only got a very quick glance, though. Haven't seen any others so far.
 
So several of my co-workers are aware that I have ordered an Apple Watch (and have been making fun of me about the delay) but that it has yet to be delivered. A new employee started in my unit and BAM she's wearing a 38mm white SB. She's been there a few days but her office isn't near mine so I hadn't noticed it until today. I pulled a Fred G. Sanford when I saw her watch and started grabbing my chest and staggering backwards. One of my co-workers yelled "Dammit man, I told you guys she wasn't ready for this!" They each proceeded to explain how I'd stayed up on launch day to order my watch and it hadn't arrived yet. The new employee just smiled and said, "Yeah I ordered mine the day after. You must've gotten the Sports Grey." :rolleyes: True Story.

I've seen two in two weeks during my commute to work on the train. Last week I spotted the gleaming white band of a 42mm sport on a guy's wrist a few feet from me.

Tonight, a guy seated next to me on the train was studying an :apple:watch photo on his iPhone when I noticed he was also wearing the 42mm SG.

Going to the Apple Store is fun... you can hear people whispering "Look - he's got one on!"

I think it might be because he has the accessibility feature turned on. A lot of my Asian friends have it on for some reason so when a call or text comes in it flashes to notify them. I personally find it really annoying. Lol.
 
I haven't spotted any others in my area, which I am fine with because I honestly like showing it off. I have been stopped a couple times now with people asking 'Is that the Apple Watch?' or 'Is that what I think it is?' I have ever gotten that before. What a lot of people are amazed by is the amount of stuff it can actually do.
 
Saw one just after launch on a woman at the sushi place hubby took me to for dinner. Her ~9 year old son was playing around with it - at first I was flabbergasted that such a young kid had a SS :apple:Watch! I was finally able to relax (though still very distracted) once she secured it to her own wrist. Hubby took very clear note of my distraction & jealousy and took me for a try-on appointment the next day!:p (my 38mm SS WSB is coming 20/5-28/5)

Saw 2 others in the wild at Starbucks using ApplePay :cool:
 
yes, i saw one in a public restroom yesterday. the guy beside me at the urinals was wearing a stainless steel with the leather loop. i think he was done peeing minutes ago but was kind enough to let me stare at his watch for sometime. he nodded his head so i nodded my head as a thanks and smiled back. the next thing that happened was very awkward and really surprised me. don't ever check other guys watches while peeing.

Had my first sighting today, and saw not one, but two watches! There was a festival here in my college town and I noticed one person with what looked like a 38mm SS Milanese, and another with a SS classic buckle. I've had mine for over a week and these were the first I've see here
 
The only people I've seen with the Apple watch, is me, an 2 employees at the Apple Store. One was a Sport with white band and a Space Grey sport. No one has noticed mine either. ##

Haven't seen anybody else with one, even in the Apple Store. I'm sure they'll get more popular soon, but I'm back to my Casio Edifice for the next month because of exams!
 
I don't expect to see one for a while in Sweden ...

I'm in Stockholm Sweden where they haven't been released yet (I ordered for US delivery on Launch) so haven't seen not a one. I do work in IT so have been admired (geeky award goes to me) by my coworkers.

I have the 38mm SS with Milanese Loop. :)

For anyone new to the watch seeing a movie, you can turn off the fuction to activate on wrist raise, either from the Watch app on the phone or right on the watch itself.

Have any of you seen an Apple Watch in the wild not counting anyone you know? Today at church the guy I was sitting next to had a 38mm Space Grey Sport. He said he got it a few days ago, which was better then the June estimate he originally had. He also said he placed his order in "mid April". I thought it was kinda cool to see someone else with the Apple Watch. Have any of you seen someone you don't know with an Apple Watch?

Yeah, I've seen one other person in a restaurant. The sport with green sport band.

I own a SS 42mm and my wife has white sport 38mm.
 
I was at the mall food court the other day and I was looking around to see if anyone had an watch. And didn't find anyone. And then I happened to look at the guy sitting next to me and he had a SS with Milanese loop.
