boiling actually makes me optimistic. I have a hot tub, and I wasn't even considering daring to wear it in there, but if it can be boiled, I can't imagine a hot tub would do much damage... hmmm...

it'd probably be fine, I'd still be careful though. Hot water will cause the metal casing to expand, possibly enough so that water could get past the o-rings sealing off the entry points.

This one was at least a bit more fun than most of the usual hater-fueled efforts.

Anyone know if they make eyeglasses out of this stuff? My dad and brother are always messing theirs up.

Most surprising part of that video for me was how big her feet were.

The watch scratch part was impressive though.

Still waiting for the »Will it blend?« test with an Apple watch edition. C’mon, *******! What happened to your brave Youtube-clickbait-entrepreneurship?

They the joy on her face and in her voice as she pours various condiments on top of it made feel like I was watching some weird fetish video. I feel dirty now.

the music at that part added to the feel. :)

idk, for a video of this type, it's funny and well produced.. (and even decently informative).. not sure why some people are upset over it.. oh well.

I really hate these stupid "torture test" videos..just stupid and immature and completely pointless.these are made to attract more views and make cash for makers.
it's sad to see them mentioned here.

When I get mine I'm gonna grill it over charcoal for 15 minutes to see what happens. I love cooking with charcoal.

You know that your society is in decline when people waste perfectly good food in an effort to test the durability of their $750 gadget.

I've got to run...going to soak my MacBook in steak juice and then drop it from my Gulfstream GVI to see what the damage is.

I understand the Apple Watch is the new offering from Apple, but MacRumors has completely been hijacked by Apple Watch news. Please put these stories in their own section.

I didn't even bother to watch that video. As soon as I saw the goop on the video splash screen I was turned off. These people that create these videos are morons and need to stop this crap.

What a waste of time. With only 65k views, she has a long way to go to break even. Probably has apple care though to replace the screen.

Seen a report the SS scratches incredibly easily, looks a year old in a day. Not good. Especially as it's the premium, more robust option. I can't imagine the other two hold up that well either. Apple Watch screen protectors and cases anyone?

Why is no one interested in making videos about how it's actually a useful device?

All the reviews I've seen have concluded it's no more useful than any other smartwatch, which is not very useful

Even these types of punishment tests are ADD, anyone bothered to dive in the sea for a couple of hours rather than 10 minutes in a bucket?

It's informative. The thing I hate about these kinds of videos is that it seems like they just don't stop until the product is destroyed.

Make a set of tests and see if the thing passes them all instead of testing it until it fails
