how did she make the cover, to me, she doesn't look pretty and she looks like a guy

I was going to hold back my opinion as it was gonna be offtopic but as you have already started it!

I live in Toronto and honestly I see much prettier looking young asian ladies than the model on this cover. I think she is fine looking but they can find much unique/prettier faces - tallness does not have to be their achilles hill...

The Apple Watch is expected to launch in early 2015 and the device will be available in a wide range of materials and at several different price points. On the lower end, the Sport version of the device will retail for $349, and rumors have suggested the higher-end solid gold Edition models could sell for thousands of dollars.

This doesn't seem right. The Apple Watch with the stainless steel bezel appears to be the entry-level product. The lighter Apple Watch Sport with the aluminum bezel seems to be set up at midlevel pricing.

Best looking watch ever !!!

OMG... this look fantastic, Apple did it again. Its even better looking then most high end wathces , and that for a starting price of 349$ . The genius thing with it, is that it looks good on women and men, cant say that for the competition.

Buy or not buy comes down to...
1. Battery life (1 week at least please)
2. Water resistant or not (ideally I want to surf with it)
3. How often do they plan on refreshing (if annually, count me out)

1) Got to be kiding with current battery and SOC tech, maybe in 10 years.
2) The sport version is already water resistant, but not waterproof (don't dive with it).
3) You don't need to buy one each year even if they refresh it each year.

Don't hold your breath...

The Sport is the cheapest, it's the only one without the sapphire face.

Well, since she is a well known model in Asia, I suspect the people there beg to differ ;-). But, hey, you can go out with your good looking Asian in Toronto, Apple is certainly not stopping you ;-).

You're right that Apple has been putting them in that order on their Web page, but I'm pretty sure it has been confirmed by Apple reps after the keynote that the Sport model is the cheaper one.

Also, the Sports edition only comes in 10 models with only rubber bands, while the "Normal" stainless steel edition comes in 18 models with a variety of bands including metal and leather bands.

How in the world would an aluminum watch with rubber band be more expensive than stainless steel? I see it as the stainless steel will be the standard watch (with the most band combinations) along with a cheaper sport version and a more expensive gold version.

Could be, but I haven't seen any source confirming which of the models will be sold at the entry-level price, or even if the bands will be sold together, separately, or both. If they are sold together I can see it becoming an inventory nightmare.

Apple has yet another great hit on its hands. And that totally drives the crazies nuts. Even if Samsung could buy this kind of publicity (it can't), it wouldn't know just what to buy. It's got no class, no soul. Apple has earned its success and repute with its stellar production. Can't wait for the 16th.

Made me register ... :)

The vogue cover and fashion direction made me register here ... :) (long time apple user).

No more Gucci, Armani, Chanel & YSL ... it's now Apple on the front cover of the Vogue! Very interesting move ... ! The photos are well done and draw the attention to the watch! I personally love the shots.

Will I be wearing Apple clothes one day? Mhhh ...

How awesome would it be if this really was a modular device and you could replace the chip without having to replace the whole watch. The question is how frequently Apple will need to update this chip. I'm guessing it won't happen every year like the iPhone/iPad. But I wouldn't be surprised if Apple adds new bands over time or eventually allows 3rd parties to create their own watch bands.

I don't see a stainless steel vs. aluminum bezel being a major pricing factor. Is one clearly more expensive than the other? The aluminum watch will be quite a bit lighter. The bands are another issue. Presumably rubber will be the least expensive. But what I am wondering is whether the watch and bands will be sold together or separately. If someone wanted the lighter aluminum watch with a leather band, I would not expect to Apple make that preference difficult to satisfy.
