if the watch incorporated a built in range finder, heat signature radar and native ballistics calculator then i would call it a tactical watch
Yup! Which is why smart watches have never, in my mind, been seen as "heirloom" pieces. Smart watches turn out to be pretty dumb after some years. LOL.Wait, isn't it true for ALL Apple Watches? Sooner or later your device will become obsolete and won't get updates. As opposed to any mechanical watch that should work forever.
Very surprised at the weird comments on here - it wouldn’t take much searching to see that John is probably the celebrity most knowledgeable about watches in the world. And he regularly buys six figure Pateks and vintage rolexes, I seriously doubt he is going to let someone sending him a sub-$1000 smartwatch affect his opinions or posts..
This is true, however John Mayer is far from a "no talent", quite the opposite (not that it's your point). He is an exceptional vocalist, songwriter and guitarist, IMHO.You seem to equate $$ with quality. The list of no talents with millions of dollars in the bank is long.
Learn something new every day! (The moon watch, not about John’s watch collection. 😉)He has and aspirational and uninspired watch “collection”. More money that taste and knowledge in watches.
But surely Ultra buyers will feel more validated by that comment. I am
Happy with my 6, and want to upgrade, but the Ultra is just bigger, not a really upgrade.
Fun fact about sapphire watches: did u know that the NASA certified “moon watch” from
omega must have a an acrylic “glass”?, a sapphire shattered in the spaceship will make dangerous splinters.
