Well, you will upgrade eventually, no matter if in 3 or 6 years, and then will still benefit from whatever technologies have been released by then.Couldn’t care less. My AWU is great!

I don’t know anything about microLED so I don’t even know what everyone would be missing out on.if its 2025 then its magnificent ...remember microLed pixels are very very hard to be shrunken to this level for apple watch
Its no wonder microLED made its debut in very large displays
Yea I know, but the screen wont be it😊Well, you will upgrade eventually, no matter if in 3 or 6 years, and then will still benefit from whatever technologies have been released by then.![]()
That’s all sounds very cool to me, so just put it in, Apple!Higher brightness, no burn-in, higher color gamut, longer lifetime (OLED loses brightness and color accuracy over time), lower battery usage.
Not sure there will be update this fall on Ultra so I got mine a month ago. We shall see. I love it but yeah more screen always nice. For me that 3 plus years where maybe blood sugar is there and they do blood pressure would be good at 72 I have had high blood pressure moderated by meds well over a decade. This January my A1C went to 7.1 so I am into early type II and doctor is using meds for now. But also doing more on my diet now with wife’s help to watch carbs and calories (with dietician as well at clinic). I am down 25 -30 pounds in weight also and perhaps this will help with both but having this on watch would also be niceDang I was going to wait for it in 2024. I've been really active with my workouts this spring and actually turned down some settings on my Series 4 the other day to extend the battery life which is falling off. Now I'll just update my Series 4 to the Ultra 2 this autumn. The main issue for me is I feel like the Ultra's screen could go a lot further to the edges, and I'm not sure if they will update that before changing the display tech. Sure the display will be much larger than my Series 4, but I want as much as I can get. I like the idea of the Apple Watch becoming more of a little wrist computer that it already is and see future applications for ChatGPT-like integrations and such presenting more information on the display, so I'll take all the millimeters I can get!
This will also put me on a cycle that is more likely to get the future blood glucose and blood pressure stuff they are working on closer to my next upgrade cycle in about five years, based on current rumors. I'll also be in my 40s by then so those metrics will be more important to me. For now I watch them casually, usually checking blood pressure every few months and glucose once a year at my physical and adjusting my diet and exercise to pull them out of the caution zone.
I just got my ultra and then got this titanium band (49 mm) that goes with it looks pretty luxury to me I like the lookI'm still hoping for an Apple Watch "Pro" which in my mind would be:
• 49" mm flat screen like the ultra
• as thin as the regular Apple Watch
• stainless steel (replacing the current stainless steel as ultra replaced the titanium offering)
• no action button or ugly rectangle thing around the digital crown
• slightly better battery life -- 24 hrs
To me this would be a more luxury version that would pair well with leather and a stainless steel bands. Hermes could be just this model.
I wonder if they're going to come out with a new one this year with an updated chip.
I certainly hope that is true for me too. The Ultra cost quite a bit for me.Guess my Ultra is going to last me a good long time...
I've had the AWU for about 4 months now and I've never thought, "man, this watch is great but I wish it has less bezel".Dang I was going to wait for it in 2024.
