I just got my ultra and then got this titanium band (49 mm) that goes with it looks pretty luxury to me I like the look
That looks good. I have the Apple Stainless Steel band and I tried it on the Ultra and it's not bad but the colors and textures don't match. Also my wrists aren't as as yours appear in the photos so the Ultra looks very chunky on me.

This is ALL so predictable. APPLE WATCHES KEEP THE SAME FORM FOR THREE MODELS. Always.

Series 7 (2021)
Series 8 (2022)
Series 9 (2023)

Ultra (2022)
Ultra 2 (2023)
Ultra 3 (2024)

Series 10 in 2024 will be a new design.
Ultra 4 in 2025 will be a new design (with this rumored Micro LED screen).

Notice how clean this is, now the Series 10 and Ultra 4 won't compete with each other in the same year as they get a refresh. You may wonder... so what are the Ultra 2 and 3 going to have? Simple, they will add an additional color of Titanium and have whatever internal improvements that same year Series watch has. So if this year's Series 9 finally has an updated CPU, so will the Ultra 2 etc. I know we don't know how Ultra models will be called yet (Ultra 2?) or even if they plan on updating it yearly but I think they certainly will, its been a hit and they can't have the Ultra not have the new capabilities from that year's Series watch so look for the internals to be updated yearly.

(and to expand further, Series 0, 1&2 (same year), 3 were the same design. Then Series 4, 5, and 6 were the same design. it's almost... predictable.)

Does the Ultra have an ambient light sensor and if so, can you disable it? That's what I really want on my AW7.

I'm still holding on to a Series 5 Ceramic White and hoping this Fall, there will be a minor Ultra refresh with new color options (maybe ceramic white again? Maybe a dark anodized titanium?). Just not a fan of the current Ultra's gold-ish tint. Will be doing a marathon for the first time in Oct, so hoping that I can buy a minor-refreshed Ultra just in time for that!

So this probably will be the Apple Watch Ultra 3 or 4 with a MicroLED. There will probably be a Apple Watch Ultra 2 this September with the faster, more efficient processor that the Apple Watch Series 9 will also get for improved battery life and longer watchOS support and maybe even a new color. A smaller 45mm Ultra is probably a long shot.

I don’t know anything about microLED so I don’t even know what everyone would be missing out on.
Read this. it's focus is on the use in TVs but most of the points are even more relevant to personal electronics like watches, phones, and laptops.

It will be a huge thing for Marketing Dept to drone on endlessly about.

That is the most important point.

In reality, side by side there won't be a difference worth noticing.

It won't burn in, and will fade less slowly or not at all, but Apple discontinues support for devices so quickly now that's not a real consideration any more.

Ceramic white, IMO, was the best looking watch of all time. And I mean ALL watches, not just iWatch.

Just make a smaller version.

This. I recently purchased one, but it was just too big. I liked the design, but it was far too cumbersome. My Series 8 45MM is so much more comfortable. Had the Ultra been closer to that size I would have bought it instead. Maybe there will be a surprise in September?

I'll believe it when I see it. I wonder how much it will cost as the Ultra seemed well-priced next to the steel versions, which I think are now overpriced. Perhaps they kept the price low to entice users to upgrade to the Ultra models with ever-increasing prices in the future; people generally do not want to downgrade once they are used to something.

You guys forgot to mention what would be the benefit of a micro LED display?
Keeps the rumor mongers in business with something to do rather than fiddle with their thumbs.

Until Apple announces a product, feature, gizmo, widget or any such items, it is all just rumors. The rumor people have been wrong the majority of the time. Maybe they had former jobs as weather forecasters.
