Very happy that the 8GB 5S isn't going to happen. Let's move up to 32/64/128GB across the board Apple, it's about time.
This. I hope we see a 128GB iPhone 6.

Of course not. Apple tends to wait until its competition releases all the new innovations before it puts our its old, tired looking devices. Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave with the lack of anything inspiring nor creative from Apple.![]()
Thank god we aren't getting another 8GB iPhone. 8GB in this era is nothing but a waste and quite laughable.
I think it's just to set up Apple to have the 5S as an entry level product for those that don't want much more than a basic smartphone.
Self-important toolbag? Uhm no. Jim is a great guy, and has more credibility in this industry than almost anyone.
It's obvious you know nothing about him.
Then you don't know who he is. Jim is very respected by Apple, because he is NOT an analyst 'acting himself up' with BS stories and predictions. He doesn't yep or nope unless Apple is okay with him saying it.
You couldn't just update the original post?
I Don't Believe in Kuo Anymore
Nope.
Since you're not Jim... also how do you explain the reference for a unreleased iMac found in OSX 10.9.4 and that it was pulled from the Dev Center?
I'm hoping for a 512mb iphone 5s
Given how long we've waited already and how close we're supposed to be to Broadwell, I'd rather wait a bit longer at this point. Otherwise, the Mac mini will only get Broadwell in 2017.
STILL waiting for the Haswell update for the Mac mini.![]()
Read carefully. It just says those items won't be the stars of the show.
Nope. He doesn't say anything unless he knows. He's believed to have a source within Apple. Can you give us an example where he got it wrong? Which is more likely: he never guesses wrong or he has an actual source?
No it doesn't. Analysts are those cloud-dwelling, disconnected beings who try to discern Apple's every move from 3rd hand rumours about supply chain and a lot of guesswork about what they think Apple *should* do.
Jim Dalrymple is just guessing based on the information (I think inside information). Does not matter what his track record is. He is not Apple. Just like every other analyst. I will admit he does base his analysis on facts whereas many others just base their analysis on wild speculation. He is one of the batter analysts.
You're not even making sense. If he has inside information he's not guessing. He's just passing on a tip that he got from inside. His track record strongly implies that when he says yep/nope that's information from within.
