Ok I will challenge you to a songwriting competition, a game of NBA 2K16, and a squatting power-lift competition.

If you can beat me in all three I will consider you my equal.
[doublepost=1467158281][/doublepost]Did you know trump was a 3-sport star athlete in his day?

All-star baseball player:

A great wrestler:

A star football player:

Why do I picture Kim Jong Un every time someone makes mystical claims about how wonderful Trump is? Does Trump never need to use the bathroom and shoots 18 holes in one every time he plays golf, too?

So, supporting a loud, arrogant, narcissistic, morally (and economically) bankrupt, shill with no real plans whatsoever is the right thing to do?
[doublepost=1467288972][/doublepost]

So, you're talking about Trump's intelligence and your intelligence, and when someone suggests an intellectual contest, you bring up sports and songwriting? Yeah, that makes sense. Man, the rambling is getting off the charts these days.

No real plans? Haha. That's a load of you know what. It's becoming abundantly clear how morally and spiritually empty the democratic nominees are. Either you're ignorant of this or approve of their evil ways. And I mean evil in the deepest, darkest most hideous meaning of the word.

This post only further supports my notion that we've all become far too coddled as a society.

Our grandfathers fought fascists and communists, yet here we are, freaking out over an orange colored dip**** and a sharky politician in a pantsuit as if they're the end of the world.

Actually, Trump being elected could be the end of the world if he could actually do the insane things he wants to do. Fortunately, even if he did manage to become president the other branches of government would keep him from doing any real damage.

The worst I expect we'll see from a Trump presidency would be another recession, and some international egg on our faces. If he proves himself too much a firebrand, he'll very quickly be put in his place.

Honestly, I'm more afraid of what'll happen in Trump loses. Considering a good portion of his fanbase is made up of people who sincerely believe in a cabal of political elites working behind the scenes to control the hearts and minds of America, they'll probably see him losing the presidency as a confirmation of their worldview, and use it as an excuse to burn down a bunch of nature reserves.

I really like your comment! Our grand fathers fought fascists and communists...but I will add their grand children are too stupid not to vote for one. What the older and wiser generation saw as evil to be eliminated is being embraced by the younger sets. Very sad. Thanks for validating my point for me.

Maybe their fantasy of "taking back America" from some imagined oppressor could use a reality check if they attempt some sort of violent revolution. Hate to see another Bundy Ranch takedown but if that's what it takes to pop that bubble....

The scariest thing from a Trump presidency would be the downgrading of our credit rating around the world. I think that could happen election night or inauguration day like it did for the UK from Brexit.

Do you seriously think Hillary Clinton is a communist? Explain why.

Nah. Trump's presidency won't effect anything by virtue of being. He represents a certain amount of uncertainty, which'll probably make the market a little bearish, but his inauguration won't mark any immediate disaster.

Though if he tries to push renegotiating the debt for pennies on the dollar, and somehow manages to succeed in convincing congress to do so, yeah, expect the market to plummet, and our credit reading to take the most severe beating it's endured in nearly 100 years.

No, he's now in the game. That makes him a politician. It's whether he remains one that's the current big question.
I don't think he can be called that till he is elected. right now he is doing a job interview for the politician job. you can tell the way he acts he has no clue about the job.

His IQ is higher than yours and pretty much any other potential candidate.

Bout 140-150

IQ estimates are meaningless if they do not come from a test that is administered and evaluated by a trained professional. I don't think you have any idea why they were developed, how they are rated, or anything about them. His IQ is arguably almost orthogonal to his business dealings.

You have some basis for that other than Cold War era tripe? I bet you believed the people who told you that hiding under your desk in the event of a nuclear explosion would in fact keep you safe.

I'd probably peg him out in the 110 range. Far from stupid, but not exactly uber-super genius, either.

Refer to the first line of my response. The IQ discussions get old, because it's not possible to casually gauge these things. IQ scores have some variance depending on the system used.

its overblown comments like this that are gonna win him the election by a landslide.

When you say stuff like that, all people are gonna think is: "literally the one most "extreme" thing he wants to do is get people to obey immigration laws and to enforce the rules..."

???

How this will lead to our destruction I have no idea. How does your logic get to that point? Seriously.

Clearly you are either not paying attention, you're a low information voter or you're given Trump a pass on all the bat **** crazy things he has proposed and said.

His tax plan would add over $10 trillion to the deficit over 10 years.
He wants to bring back torture and target the families of terrorists.
His statements on nuclear proliferation are ****ing scary.

Just a few things more extreme than his immigration "policy".

Yes, no real plans "I'll get the best people" and "I'm really good at building walls" are not plans.

I get that Hillary is not squeaky clean, but how exactly is Bernie Sanders evil??

If Trump wins this election by a landslide, I will literally eat my own sh**. That's how much I think it's not going to happen.

I'm sorry, but...say what, now!?!? That's not even close to the most extreme thing he's said.

Seriously.

Seriously, indeed.

Obama already covered that. If anything Trumps election would lead to a rally and recovery of credit ratings due to the fact that he doesn't embrace the choking socialism of the left.

Yep, our reactions do seem a little over the top some days. Although... capitalism as we know it in all its unbridled rapacity could be the end of the world, and certainly neither of these presumed nominees is actually going to take on the movers and shakers of capitalism. They're gonna deal!

You know Trump has gone on record for supporting strengthening Medicaid and Social Security, right?

Yah, remember what Reince Priebus tweeted during that insane South Carolina debate - “Our well-qualified & experienced candidates continue to put forth serious solutions to restore prosperity & strength to America.”

Surely Reince had NO IDEA Trump was gonna take him up on that idle thought, at least not on that night!

It's not so much capitalism, so much as this belief that avarice should be considered the end goal of it that's the problem.

On a similar note, I do find it funny that this recent stance of anti-globalization is being fielded by the people who generally considering themselves to be staunch supporters of laissez-faire capitalists. You'd think that they'd realize the contradiction there, but they never do.
