Can one use Chrome W/O crash?
I just hope this can be turned into a jailbreak. I'm so tired of Apple's bug free secure boot.
Of course I need to continuously access to a lot of links from mail and 3rd party apps and it's impossible. It's as I said basically useless. Bought a s7 edge. Too big and strange OS to me but superb hardware.

It's not so much an app being dodgy, but a bug within iOS that an app can trigger.I don't want Tim Cook to personally apologise or anything like that. But...
It's quite annoying that my iPhone 6 running iOS 9.2.1 is pretty unusable because of a random app being dodgy. I though the strict control over apps of iOS was supposed to prevent this kind of rubbish.
...and yeah, it's a pretty expensive phone to be this unusable. I hope they fix this real soon.
Since people are already getting their new devices in some parts of the world (and some are just getting earlier), it would seem like getting it out earlier when it's ready to go would make more sense so that it's already available.something tells me the fix is ready they just waiting to release it tomorrow with the new iPhone SE and iPad Pro
Delete the Booking.com app. Restart.
Wife did. Safari working again.
Of course all Apple's fault. Now I have to return the Samsung phone I bought. jk.
I couldn't agree more with you, this is not the first time when they do nothing about releasing in time a bug about a major bug. It took few months for them to fix the custom keyboards crash bug (I've stopped using them because of that).I'm not spreading any false rumors. I'm saying that Apple's QA process is totally inadequate and they need to put the brakes on all new iOS features for a year until they sort this out with a top down review and audit of the existing code base and App set.
I'm at 5 days with an unusable device (iPhone 6s). This is beyond laughable. Apple needs to do right by its customers: I don't want money. Tim and Craig need to take responsibility, issue a public apology for this and change the entire software development and quality assurance process at Apple. It's broken, and it will, mark my words, happen again unless big changes are made.
People with versions prior to 9.3 are also experiencing the issue.Maybe the issue is a lot more complicated than we think... Even with all the resources and talents Apple has at hand, still no fix. Or maybe Apple is going to bundle the fix with 9.3.1, and they are testing it like there's no tomorrow lol. I feel bad for anyone who couldn't open mail app attachments/links due to this bug...
Question - did 9.3 update trigger the bug somehow across all iOS 9 versions? Or has this bug existed before the release of 9.3?
People with versions prior to 9.3 are also experiencing the issue.
The bug has been there but what triggered it which seemingly was the way some apps did some things hasn't been around until some apps released those changes that ended up triggering the bug.Yes, I know that. But has this issue existed before the release of 9.3?
Perhaps a Laptop for $250 may have been a viable option?? Or the free puffin browser.Of course I need to continuously access to a lot of links from mail and 3rd party apps and it's impossible. It's as I said basically useless. Bought a s7 edge. Too big and strange OS to me but superb hardware.
After downloading 9.3.2 on my iPhone 5s I'm no longer able to charge my phone other than using a cigarette plug. I've tried every charger made by Apple- non Apple. I've tried every cord. No damn luck. I plug into my car and it charges. The lightening bolt even lights up when I plug into the wall outlet. Yes, I've tried different outlets. Ugh!!! Anybody else having this issue?
Apple has confirmed that it is aware of an issue causing web links to crash in multiple iOS apps like Safari, Mail, and Messages, reports TechCrunch. Following multiple complaints about the bug over the past few days, Apple says it is working on a fix that will be released "soon" via a software update.
Shortly after the release of iOS 9.3, iPhone and iPad users began complaining about a bug that causes multiple built-in and third-party apps to crash or freeze after a web link is tapped or pressed using a long press. The issue does not affect all users, but based on threads in the MacRumors forums and the Apple Support Communities, it is impacting a wide range of iOS users and a long list of iOS devices including the iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini.
The specific cause for the issue is still unconfirmed, but there is speculation that it is related to Apple's Universal Links feature. According to mobile specialist Ben Collier, the Shared Web Credentials daemon, which allows apps and websites to share login credentials for Universal Linking purposes, may be a factor.
Apps with large deep linking files for use with Universal Linking could also be causing the problem, as many users who had installed the Booking.com app have experienced crashing and freezing issues. The Booking.com app, though now fixed, was originally using an overly large 2.3MB deep linking file.
While there is no fix for the crashing issue, some users have had success turning off JavaScript in the Settings app by going to Safari --> Advanced, but this is a suboptimal option because it will degrade the web browsing experience. Force closing affected apps and restarting the iOS device does not solve the problem.
The web links fix may be bundled into iOS 9.3.1, which Apple is already working on. Over the last few days, we've seen an increasing number of visits from devices running iOS 9.3.1, suggesting Apple has sped up testing on the update.

The web linking bug is the second major bug to affect iOS 9.3 users. The first rendered some older devices unusable due to a problem with Activation Lock, which required customers to enter the information originally used to set up their iPhone or iPad. Apple issued a new version of iOS 9.3 on Monday to fix the issue.

Doesn't seem like this is about 9.3.2 or anything like that (as in this thread isn't about anything related to 9.3.2 or other issues aside from the link issue that was already addressed some time ago). After downloading 9.3.2 on my iPhone 5s I'm no longer able to charge my phone other than using a cigarette plug. What does this have to do with the links issue that was already addressed? My iPad 3 has been very slow, sometimes it will become unresponsive, i have to leave the battery drained then recharge the iPad to be able to use again.
Cook needs to focus on "it just works" philosophy of Apple instead of playing politics.
Oh sorry, I thought I commented on the 9.3.2 thread, must have been a mistake on my part, so many tabsWhat does this have to do with the links issue that was already addressed?
