It is fact. None of the products he introduced have had any success. But maybe I missed something, so please provide me an example of something that did not crash and burn.

The mere fact that he partnered with the "brain" behind the horrible joojoo tablet shows that he has no idea what is doing. But please prove me wrong. I will be waiting here in anticipation.

Edit: hah, just went to his own website that references all his "products". Each and every one of them is a flop.
Well done, you do seem to be quite the expert just visiting the website recently. Maybe you could provide actual facts of crashing and burning using objective evidence, sales and return figures, repair requests, customer satisfaction etc across the whole product line. "I will be waiting here in anticipation"...

It seems that Apple lost it's original vision...
I understand that this sounds a bit theatrical and almost like a cliche but let me explain what I mean. I don't mind Apple making TV series, but what about the time when Apple was bragging about it's computers and how fast they where compared to the competition?

See:

or this one

I perfectly understand that times are changing and that these commercials don't fit any longer in today's modern approach of commercial making, but... I still like the approach where Apple was targeting power hungry customers by continuous updating it's most pro line.

Now with the current Mac Pro no new update is in sight, besides rumors about a new update. I sure hope that Apple will focus again on creating powermac's that can compete with today's modern power-computers because the current MacPro is already outdated and not even a little bit...

Sorry I hurt your feelings... here are some facts.

Will.i.am has developed two tech products. The iPhone sleeve camera and the plus smartwatch. I'm not going to google the reviews for you because you can do that yourself. In both cases they are absolutely disastrous. Interestingly in both cases the product has never actually been released and sold to the wider public. They have only been distributed to a handful of reviewers and all of them hated them both.

So, the data that you would like to see does not exist. Not a single consumer has ever touched these products and therefore they can both be called absolute and utter failures.

Hysterical. Calm down friend, no need to hate on Will I Am. You might like to listen to his story sometime. I mean, this is just a TV show about apps. Not a fan, watch something else or make something else.

Alright. You call me out to provide facts (which I do) and suddenly it is not important anymore. Very mature.
First, more exaggeration. Second, your facts aren't factual which is key to highlighting your argument's lack of credibility and the hysterics involved in this discussion. Simply, cases were actually manufactured and cases were actually sold. That's a fact.

The band existed, and was quite good, before the cute girl came in.
They got way more commercial after that, that's for sure.

As this being good or not, let watch it before we judge it.
Never heard anything worthwhile from them, or anything to indicate WIA was a "Renaissance Man".

Will.i.am??? What is wrong with Apple? A man with no talent (does anyone remember the hideous iPhone camera he designed) making a tedious tv show about apps. I would rather burn my telly than watch that rubbish, and please don't even get me started on Dr. Dre.
maybe you could stop mocking on others for a second and reveal what you have achieved in your precious life so far?
Especially compared to Will.i.am and Dr. Dre.

There's a famous speech by Eric Schmidt -
Some have suggested Google should invest directly in TV content. To argue that misunderstands a key point – Google is a technology company. We provide platforms for people to engage with content and, through automated software, we show ads next to content that owners have chosen to put up. But we have neither the ambition nor the know-how to actually produce content on a large scale. Trust me, if you gave people at Google free rein to produce TV you’d end up with a lot of bad sci-fi.

At least Google have the self awareness they'd make **** TV.

Perhaps instead of working on something like that, they could find a way to make those 1,000,000 apps more discoverable?

Or spend some time deleting the 300,000 useless apps?

Maybe have them live in a place where a lot of software startup companies are also making apps? We can name the show after the place where they live... call it "Silicon Va..." - oh wait.
