It's good that they didn't increase for people who are already subscribed. It is why I continue to do AppleCare prepaid (2 or 3 year) in case that ever happened but I guess Apple would respect the price you were locked in at. I'm feeling mighty good about buying a maxed out MacBook Pro in April and attaching 3-years of apple care to it.
It's Not Personal. Apple Has No Concept of Respect When It Comes to Making Money.

It seems you like to run cover for any Apple price increases. Apple loves nickeling and diming customers at this point to no end in sight.

It seems you would be OK if Apple employees were denied yearly wage and benefit increases. Apple is also subject to their costs of doing business (maintenance, insurance, utility costs, etc, etc) also increase due to inflation. Just like everyone else. I gather you have never run a business before.

You have no clue whether I run a business or not. Maybe if Apple cut the dead weight on their software team they wouldn't have to penny pinch their customers to death.

Expected. Not sure if regular AppleCare is also getting more expensive but if you live in the EU: AppleCare is a scam. All electronic products already have 2 or 3 years of warranty as default, and Apple claiming they only have 1 year of warranty is simply a lie. They can't legally offer 1 year of warranty.

With respect to Apple's software team "dead weight," will you be writing a letter to John Ternus and Tim Cook with your recommendation?

It seems many people are unaware and gobsmacked that inflation and rising costs of doing business also affects tech companies, including Apple.

Really! If we weren’t making such generous donations to the memory bank, inflation and rising costs would starve Apple out of business.
