Best value:
3 Vision Pros. Save $510 over annual plans.

Worst value:
3 HomePod Minis or Apple TVs. Lose $210 over annual plans.

Choose your devices wisely. Don't waste a slot on AirPods, HomePods, AppleTVs.
Even Macs other than the MacBookPro or MacPro, base level iPads, and non-ultra Watches probably aren't worth it over the annual plans.
I think you're limited to one Vision Pro on this. AppleCare for one Vision Pro alone costs more than the whole contract for three devices.

And yeah, there's a decision to be made for individual devices for sure. I'm digging up my invoices for some things I bought.

It's offering me to add two old HomePod minis. No thanks :).

I have a 14 Pro not even 3 years old and I can't add coverage. Nothing wrong with it, but the battery is at 78%. I don't know if that's the reason why, but if so that's BS.

Upgraded to AppleCare One for my iPhone and Watch, with another Apple Account on which the previous Apple Care+ was purchased with. After upgraded to AppleCare One, signed in to my regular Apple Account, soon after received this message:

A new Apple Account has signed in to your iPhone 14 Pro Max. To avoid losing AppleCare One coverage, you must sign in to the iPhone 14 Pro Max with the Apple Account associated with your AppleCare One plan.

You have 24 hours from when this email was sent to sign in, or your iPhone 14 Pro Max will be removed from your AppleCare One plan.

This is an important change which they do not communicate clearly about. So be careful if you want to change the Apple Account on your device later.

That’s disturbing. Can you post a screenshot of the message? Was it an email? Or pop up? Or…?

Just an email. It really sucks, because I lost my original plans and this one will be canceled unless I start using this Apple account as a main.

Is anyone else getting this error message when they try to add a device? When I click on one of my eligible devices on the first page if then goes to this page saying " Something Went Wrong" ... "We are unable to complete your request. Please try again later." Not sure what to do from here.

I went back and read their terms. It’s in there, and it’s kinda, uh, bs. Wish I knew that before I put my wife’s Mac on the plan. Guess I’ll just need to have a separate user account signed into my Apple account on her Mac.. 🙄

Total stupidity and bs. I can’t add this coverage to devices that never had apple care before. Would have paid gladly but I guess apple doesn’t want my money.

I have always been and always will be a big advocate for AppleCare/+ etc. Saved me thousands over the years for sure. I'm not too keen on subscriptions in general but if I see value in something, then I'll consider subbing.

Same. But since I'm planning on holding onto my iPhone 15PM, M2 iPad pro and the aging M1 Pro MBP, I figured this may be worth it...

Terms and Conditions of the Apple Care One Plan attached (that I received after signing up) if anyone wants to read!

Doesn’t seem to work right? It only shows my AW Ultra since I have apple care on it, but not my just over a year iPad Pro OLED, which it stated you do not need current coverage?….. but it states it allows devices up to 4 years old?

It does not show ANY of my Apple devices except my AWU. No option for any of my other devices…. WTH?
After switching my iPhone to AC1 from the monthly AppleCare+ plan, I was able to add my AC+ covered iPad Pro M4 and AirPods Pro 2. My other non AC+ devices (under 4 years old) also show as eligible.

However, my wife’s case is different. She has only one AC+ covered device (her AWH S7), and she can enroll in AC1 only through that AWH. Even though her other devices are eligible, she cannot enroll to AC1 with them. There is no link or button to activate from those devices.

In short: you can only switch or upgrade to AC1 if you already have at least one device covered by AppleCare/AppleCare+. Once you’re enrolled through that device, you can add your eligible devices. If this is wrong, please let me know.

I received the same email for iPhone 16 Pro Max, AppleCare + was purchased using the same Apple ID used to purchase AppleCare One yesterday. AppleCare Support is supposed to call me at Noon today.

It is strange when I view the coverage online, or on my device in settings, everything looks fine. If I view coverage in my iPad Pro settings, it shows my iPhone 16 Pro Max will be removed.

So because I never had apple care on my devices before I can’t add this now? Seriously? How colossally stupid.
same problem yet their own news release says something about the 60 day thing, no longer being applicable. some say it worked for them, some say it doesn't (me included), apple says you only qualify if you had apple care, others say wait and it will work - complete cluster..

Apple says that a customer who enrolls their iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch could save up to $11 per month versus enrolling in separate AppleCare+ plans for each device.

The question is, is it cheaper than paying for the upfront 2 year AC+ plan for those 3 devices, and then when that AC+ runs out, switch over to the AppleCare One plan?

I will also try to schedule a call. If you found a solution, please let me know.

Another subscription model, people more willingly pay a little each month without realizing how much this takes out of their pocket in a year.
And typically already covered by consumer laws for the first 2 years, home and contents insurance when things accidentally break or get stolen. And a high chance of also covered under terms and conditions of bank accounts pending the package people may take for other benefits or needs. Like mine had good permanent global travel insurance, which was good value to upgrade the package but also came with phone replacements. And all goods are through home contents insurance insured in the first place.
